Second Home — Hotel in okres Česká Lípa

This has been our third visit over the years, and I can assure you we’ll be back again in the not-so-distant future. We never tire of this hidden gem, tucked away in the small village of Nový Bor, in the picturesque area of Liberec. It truly feels like our home away from home in the Czech Republic. We always book the same room, and our kids head straight to it out of habit. We always book the room with a balcony since I enjoy my daily cigar and have a rather large family. This rooms suits a family of 4-5. Be aware the water closet (WC) is separate from the room but it is PRIVATE. So you are the only ones who have access to it. I find this no problem. ||The owners and managers couldn’t be any nicer. The place is always quiet, and the food caters to all tastes. They even accommodate special requests for breakfast—I'm partial to eggs and bacon, and when asked in advance, the owner happily prepares it to order. Our stay was terrible. The owners are pushing you from the beginning, they call you and ask you at what time are you arriving. Knocking on the door at 8:30 to inform you that the breakfast is from 8:00 to 9:00. But the breakfast is a tragedy. Nothing warm was served. Not even mashed eggs. The chafing is just for decoration 😂. On the checkout day they are knocking on the door again to be sure that you are not checking out at 10:01. Sono presenti 2 diversi wi-fi molto buoni. Si può richiedere una bicicletta gratis per fare dei bellissimi giri nei dintorni. La colazione, servita nella sala ristorante, è personalizzata (si indica la sera prima il menu e l'orario).
