Pension Adam — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

The weather was cold and wet during my stay, which caused me some troubles. There is a woman that takes care of the pension since the owners live nearby Prague. However, she needs to consult everything with them and that failed a bit since they were on their vacation on the first day of my stay.||||During our discussion she mentioned that she suggested the owners to rent some electric heating in the past for 200CZK per night, but it was not offered to me, because the owner wanted to charge more and haven't decided yet.||||I asked her to turn on the heating, since it was cold in the room and she did it after some time, so I thought it would be OK. After 2 hours, she turned it off again, but it was in the evening, therefore OK for the night. The only problem was, that in the morning, when we woke up, our towels were still wet since there was so cold and because of the high humidity in the room. It got worse when we got wet from our trip since it was raining. It was difficult to dry our clothes, especially shoes. The woman told us to dry our clothes outside the pension on the garden using drying lines (covered with water from the rain).||||I called the owner (wife and husband, I spoke always with the wife) and she promised me to tell the woman to turn the heating on ("I did not realized it might be cold in there, it was over 30 degrees in Croatia"). After 2 hours of no change, I called her again and she told me that it's weird that it's not turned on and that maybe her husband, who called the woman, gave her some other instructions. So I made them to turn the heating on for another 2 hours. I was told that there is no reason to turn it on for a longer time period. However, it was 15 degrees outside and it was feeling warmer than the room.||||So I was promised one thing by the owner (wife), the woman in the pension was told another thing by the owner (husband) and a completely another thing happened on site.||||In combination with wet clothes, shoes and bad mood, I decided to stop being a part of this communication mess, where the whole thing is managed by some man who gives orders but do not talk to his customers, and left 2 or 3 nights earlier.||||I wrote them e-mail that I left and it would be great to have my money for the rest of the nights back. I was told that I can't have the money but I can go back and spent the rest of the nights there. I was also told that the woman that takes care about the pension saw our window open half an our before we left, when she went shopping. After we left, she went to measure the temperature and they say that it was 19 degrees after we had that window opened for a while to get fresh air. I'm not sure that it's the truth, but that does not really matter.||||Moreover the woman saw us leaving and pretended that she does not see us.||||Therefore I cannot recommend this place except for hot sunny days. It was nice and clean, but when it's cold and wet, be sure to have your own heating with you and hide it carefully to not to be charged for not staying in a cold room.||||The biggest disadvantage is the poor communications with owner who are...

Penzion Adam je velmi útulný ale nemají to žádné masáže ani sauny což mě trošku překvapilo ale líbilo se nám tam mají tam docela slabou WiFi ale mě to moc nevadí mají krásnou zahradu poblíž je i nádherný Lesk a je tam jedna chalupa která se mi moc líbila Mají tam nádhernou skálu a moc se nám tam líbilo hlavně v tom lese pokoje jsou tam docela hezké ale uklízečky tam moc neuklízí Protože jednou když jsme se vrátili tak jsme neměli ani vyluxovala No i když jsme si to platili To ale nevadí docela se nám tam líbilo není to tam luxusní ale je to tam pěkné Je tam velmi pěkné prostředí...

Strávili jsme zde týdenní cyklodovolenou v srpnu 2018. Ideální poloha pro vyjíždění na výlety na kolech, cca 400 m pláž s občerstvením u Lipna. Pokoj jsme měli pro max. 3 lidi (2 dospělý + dítě), místnůstka s další postelí a ledničkou byla skutečně malinká a sloužila pro odložení našich věcí. S pokoje jsme měli výhled do zdi protějšího domu, ale to nám nevadilo, neboť jsme se vraceli na pokoj jen večer na přespání. Jinak...
