Wellness Pension Silver Wind — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Very nice little pension operated by nice Czech family. If you are looking for a place to relax close to the largest Czech water dam (or close to multiple skiing amenities if in winter) this can be your choice. Very nice and caring service from the family who runs the place. Well equipped including whirlpool, sauna and a little bar, great location close to the lake. Slightly pricey for the location, but the service makes up for it. The owners are very helpful in whatever you need and you can see that they are trying to go above and beyond in improving their service. The only thing that has negatively surprised us was the check in versus check out time (4 pm, respectively 11 am), however, you know it prior to coming, so not a big deal. ||Loved the overall feel of the pension, wish all Czech lodgings to be just as friendly and welcoming...

I recommend this place 100%. My son (13) and I spent 4 nights here in June 2018. It was before the high season. The owners are very nice people and they treated us like kings. The place is beautiful with very pleasant atmosphere, rooms are very clean, cozy and comfortable, very homey, wonderful little touches everywhere. The bedding and towels so soft and smelled sooo good :-). Very delicious breakfast with all variety of food and a different desert every day. The grilled chicken dinner was amazing, grilled on the lokomotive grill in front of the hotel. I truly cannot say anything negative, this was a wondeful amazing experience staying here and getting to know the owners, who are amazing people, it felt like family... or better :-) We look forward to come back some day. It's an absolutely great place to stay! Kind, welcoming and helpful hosts, cosy clean rooms - you feel like it's your summer home for vacations. You have a wide range of activities available around this place - you can go hiking/cycling in Sumava Natural Park, take a boat on the lake, visit beutiful historic cities of Cesky Krumlov and Ceske Budejovice. The hosts speak very good English, and are happy to offer their help - they gave us a lot of great tips, provided us with maps and travel guides. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Also there is a bar in the dining room, and it was nice to sit there in the evening. We liked this place a lot, and warmly recommend it.
