hotel Valdes — Hotel in okres Šumperk

In the middle of the quiet little town of Loučná nad Desnou stays this beautiful hotel located in recently renowated old building. The room size took my breath as there was space for a double bed, a desk, a fridge, a large closet and even a conference table with two armchairs next to big french windows with a beautiful view over the mountains.||On the other hand, I would gladly sacrifice a part of the room size for better soundproofing. The noise from the other room was annoying sometimes but I have experienced much worse.||Everything was clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and extra helpful.||We have tried hotel's private wellness (Infrared sauna, whirlpool and relax area) and considering the price (And for longer stays it is for free) it was flawless - fresh and clean.||Breakfast is really basic, but good.||Just five minute walk from the hotel there is a restaurant Na staré poště. Don't get confused by how it looks both at the outside and inside - it offers really good meals from fresh and mostly local ingredients you would appriciate even in the big city. The receptionist Magda met us at the parking lot door. She walked us to our room, gave us the key and allowed us to unpack and settle in before she got our passport and other information. This was the best service I've received in recent memory. The room was brand new, we had room 8 on the third floor. facing the main street but it was nice. The radiator didn't work when we got back from dinner so we asked for a new room so she gave us the suite next door room 7, so we had two rooms at once..The following day we went to breakfast and it was really good. We stayed there for the weekend in July 2016 and it was really lovely experience. People who works there are really nice. The hotel has been recently renovated.
