MOUNTAIN HOTEL Paprsek — Hotel in okres Šumperk

Nice smaller ski resort with two main slopes. It's good for all sorts of advanced riders. There is a two seat lift, trying you to the top station in approximately 8 minutes. I had a bag luck for the weather, the visibility was almost zero because of very dense fog. But the snow quality was very good. As there were only a few fellow riders, the slope was still in a very good shape even after lunch time. Parking is convenient, big enough for the overall capacity. If you go here to ski, take the highest parking lots. The lower ones are mainly for cross country skiers. Just the access roads are narrow, so ongoing traffic is sometimes tricky. We had a great stay at the hotel with dinner in the evening and breakfast. The rooms were smaller (we had an apartment style with two rooms in one) but overall clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean, the only thing was that there was no soap/body wash in the shower, which some of us would have appreciated since we were hiking and we weren’t carrying any. Also, the light switch was above the plug, which meant that if you had wet hands and it was dark, you could reach wrong. The dinner was delicious and large portions. Velmi příjemné překvapení. Hotel je uvnitř celkem tradiční, ale pokojík útulný a čistý. Wellness je sice ve vedlejší budově, ale krásně vybavený se vstupem do venkovních prostor, kde se dá na lavečkách parádně ochladit. Co musím ale pochvalit nejvíce je místní kuchyně. Na snidani dostanete šunku od kosti, domácí koláče, pomazánky a spoustu dalšího kvalitního jídla. Na oběd sice budete muset chvilku vystát frontu, ale na výběr mají domácí polevky a hlavně lokální pokrmy. Na fotce hovězí frankfurt s domácím knedlíkem. Domácí kynuté knedlíky s borůvkami, hojně zalité maslem vypadaly také parádně. Ale i "smažeňáci " si přijdou na své, kuříz a smasýr tady také mají. Na večeři jsme chtěli kousek kvalitního masa a zeleninu. Dostali jsme LUXUSNÍ hovězí svíčkovou z domácího chovu s pepřovou omáčkou! Tak dobrý pokrm včetně toho sosu ( pan kuchař použil nakládaný zelený pepř, demi glace a smetanu) jsem dlouho nikde nejedl. Tímto bych rád poděkoval personalu celého hotelu, včetně moc příjemným dámám na recepci. Určitě se znovu rádi vrátíme....
