We have just spent 3 nights at the Pension with friends from the UK.||||On our arrival they opened the Bar early so that we could have a drink and from that point on nothing was too much trouble.||||The rooms are spotlessly clean, well equipped and ours even had a shared balcony.||||Breakfast provided us with the fuel that we needed for a days walking. Far , far more food than we could actually eat with Omelettes,Scrambled Eggs and Fried eggs with Ham as the hot options. Suitably fuelled we set off.||||When we returned each day from five or six hours of hard walking we immediately went to the bar for a well earned beer or Gin for the ladies. Huge plates of crisps and salted almonds accompanied the drinks and the staff were always on hand to provide top ups or extras.||||After a long hot shower we went down for dinner.||||Not a huge menu but everything was very good and superbly cooked. Highlight for me was the Pork. So tender that you did not need a knife and very tasty. A limited selection of wines to accompany dinner ( they come from the next Village along from ours) , but again good quality and reasonable price.||To round off the evening for the Ladies a hot chocolate with Amaretto is apparently highly recommended.||||In summary :||||Good location.||Top quality rooms.||Great food and wine.||Excellent...
Read more😊: I arrived late due to problems on the train, but the host kindly picked me up from the train station and took me to her pension. This thoughtful gesture was really appreciated. Aside from the late arrival, the pension was in a lovely quiet area, served an excellent breakfast, was value for money and stayed in a clean beautiful spacious room. The host and staff spoke English too and communication with pension was 10/10. Highly recommend and will be back again.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.. 😢:...
