We were looking forward to a stay in the Moravian countryside so that is why we picked this Penzion. The location was great, we could drive in a few minutes to all the sights, and it was very close to bike paths for bikers. The room was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. There was ample parking. The breakfast room was sunny and bright and the breakfast was plentiful. We stayed there on a half-board basis and we founnd that 3 out of the 4 meals were not very good. One plate of food was just meat and boiled rice, nothing else. One morning we woke to a delicious smell and in the courtyard they were roasting a pig for supper. We were looking forward to the "country" supper they were advertising. We thought we would get some of this pork for our supper and listen to great Hungarian music. Well in fact the half-board people did not get this pork for supper, instead we got some breaded chicken and the "country" music was American country music sung by a band in Czech-not what we expected. But then the staff, although pleasant enough, did not speak any English so we could not ge a lot of information. I realize that we are in their country so we should be the ones to learn a little Czech, but we never even met the owner, as is customary in B&Bs. But this really was more like a motel than a Pension. We also had to go down to reception with an empty roll of toilet paper to ask for more, and then were given 1 small roll. The towels were never changed once during our 4 night stay, but this might be customary in Hungary. But they were helpful. When with sign language I managed to make them understand I had some wet laundry, they lent us a drying rack for us to dry our clothes. So overall, a clean place but not our best experience. We just did not feel very welcomed and the food was not what we had come to expect from places that...
Read moreCame here with my family to stay for the night, at first it seemed fine, we went to get dinner, and the food was really nice. After dinner we went to our rooms to get rest and the rooms were horrible, there was no air conditioning so it was literally hotter than outside, the bed sheets were torn up, the TV was not working and basically it was a party until midnight because a couple was having a wedding and they had music playing outside, it felt like we were there, the windows are not isolated at all. The 2 stars im giving this hotel. is because of the design in the lobby...
Děkujeme pěkně, a ostatním doporučujeme místo Mlýna Sedlec, vyzkoušet Panskou sýpku. Tam...
