Penzion Pastuška — Hotel in okres Břeclav

We visited this place on sunny Sunday in October with my friends and their families. We were amazed by the restaurant garden with hammock and beautiful corners and details. Someone spent a lot of time decorating this place. But when it came to food, we couldn't be more dissapointed. All the choices on the menu were like from fastfood and they also looked like cheap food. Friend camembert with potatoes (came with fries and prefabricated cranberries sause in plastic one-size portion. At this point I was actually expecting even plastic cutlery...). Sausage with fries looked like from the cheapest pub possible. And potatoes with cheese were just potatoes with czech eidam and bit of onion. For 150 CZK. It's important to say that the prices were bit higher so we really expected some local cuisine with seasonal dishes since this is beautiful South Moravia. I just can't understand how is it possible to ruin place like this. It's really not that hard to cook good food instead of this. And it's also not expensive. Believe me. For the price you could do really magic. But since then no go for me, this just totally ruined our nice...

The place is nice, not more, and definitely does not worth 100 € per night, the price we paid for 2 adults and a child incl. breakfast. The rooms are simple but ok, lots of mosquitos at night so it’s a pity there are no nets on the windows. The worse thing was that for the whole during of our stay (5 days) we had to beg for new towels (there was just a tiny device to hang them on so they never got dry) and toilet paper. The breakfast was very minimal, and you needed to come very early, on 8:00 o’clock, cause afterwards there was no refill. The dining room was quite dirty and neglected. very cozy penzion, beautiful garden kids friendly very clean really good food - czech classics mostly, some nice local wines handy location, easy to make trips to Zlin, Lednice, Mikulov etc. very friendly and helpful staff

rooms much smaller than in pictures, or at least ours was no matter how long you stay, nobody will clean your room. at least we got clean towels when we asked some option for people who do not fancy czech cuisine would be nice you have to pay for rooms in cash (while food and drinks can be paid by card) you can very well hear everything what's happening in the nearby rooms
