Autokemp New Rabyně — Hotel in okres Benešov

Today at Nova Rabyne I had one of the unfriendliest encounters so far in Czech Republic. On the parking spot that you have to pay for, we were completely parked in after two hours when we wanted and had to leave. A row of cars was behind, another one in front of us. We tried to get in touch with anyone who could either call out people so the cars would be driven away or do something.

We ended up talking to the owner of the place who is also working behind the bar criticizing people for their eating habits (because we are vegetarian). What he continuously said was "this is not a swimming area, this is run by the government, you pay to enter, but we are not responsible for the parking spot". His wife even told us rudely to piss off. No one took any responsibility or did anything. We would never go there again. After two hours of waiting in the heat without maybe at least offering us some water, we could finally leave.

Nevertheless, the water is pretty ok. If you don't get there by car and are willing to pay entrance for nature, which should be for anyone, and if you don't need to get in touch with the bar personnel, then it's worth...

Great place that is opened during summer season (June-September). Clean and well kept beach with children playground, beach umbrellas, deckchairs and pillows that you can lend free of charge. There is a children's playground and field for beach volleyball, badminton, ping-pong table, .. all that you can use for free. They rent paddleboards. Cafe/bar and mini restaurant has a great view and offers always delicious and fresh food (fish, steak, chicken wings, various salads,..). Restroom is always kept clean. Easy accessible by car or...

Staff friendly and helpful, clean and tidy camp. Toilets and showers modern and clean inside with quality toilet paper and paper towels. Bar well stocked with good selection of drinks, Food freshly cooked to order. Breakfast also available. Easy access to the water. Would go again.
