Lux hotel Onyx — Hotel in okres Blansko

Very mixed feelings about the hotel. Its located in quiet village. The receptionist was angry we did not check in prior 6 pm despite the fact we clearly indicated we arrive around 8 pm. The hotel building has outdated architecture from 90',very complicated and not nice. Interiors are combination of gold, black, brass colours and copies of ancient Greek statues. Wellness facilities available. One room has king size bed and spacious whirlpool. My impression is that the hotel is the most suitable for couples to enjoy themselves secretely :) :). This hotel is a 20 minutes drive north of Brno city centre. We didn't want to stay in any cities on our trip (visit yes, stay no) so we stayed here for a night to visit the Karst region and a museum in Brno. The hotel is boutique style and has a small outdoor pool. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The food was quite good and the breakfast standard fare. ||||There is a reflux problem with sewage in the area which means there can be a slight off smell in Lipovka. Pleasant stay during our shooting competitions, nice rooms with fine details, comfortable bed. Kind service maybe English skills have to be a little improved. Good breakfast buffet.
