My stay at Grid Hotel began with what I can only describe as the worlds most unfriendly and hospitable hotel receptionist. She was totally unwelcoming to the point of being rude. The room was clean and functional however the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the bed being extremely hard and the pillows old and worn. There was no iron or tea service available in the room. For these you had to pay extra. Very rude. When the room was served the dirty towels were taken but no clean ones returned. The breakfast buffet was extremely ordinary, bland and with limited options. We had dinner in the hotel on our first evening. The meal was awful, extremely overpriced and we had to pay an extra Euro 4.5 for a glass of water! The only plus for this hotel is the location on circuit. We left the hotel early and stayed at another hotel not far from the circuit where we were welcomed warmly and treated as valued guests rather than with scorn and disrespect. The hotel and its staff have a lot of work to do. Give your business to someone who values it not...
Read moreThe hotel was open for one week. Actually, we were probably the first guest in the room that felt newborn. The size of the premises is very good, I appreciate the availability of the storage spaces that I employ hiring motorcyclists. I do not know if there is a special space for storage of combines.||The bathroom did not have a bathtub, but I do not require it, the towel warmth is self-explanatory, a comfortable shower with the tooth. Nothing to say.||The meal was perfect and varied.||The weaker impression was only the professional approach of the staff, which will definitely improve for the better.||I highlight a perfect location in the center of the racecourse and close to the paddock. The price of accommodation was higher, but it was caused by the top season, the MotoGP event.||I recommend more...
Read moreWalls in the rooms are made out of cardboard, you can hear EVERYTHING. During my stay there was a family staying underneath my room and I could hear every step. Asked for a room change in an empty hotel (1 car in the car park) I was told the only room available was 3 floors down between a supposed group of tourists.
No iron or ironing board in the room, if you want something ironed you need pay… not even in Ritz Carlton do you get something ridiculous as that! You want iron it yourself? Sure they’ll drop everything up to your room.. FOR A FEE!!
Breakfast was simply disgusting. The cakes looked like they’ve landed on the floor and were picked up before being served. Choice extremely limited, no condiments. I would avoid this place...
