Hotel Zannam — Hotel in okres Brno-město

We haven't even had the opportunity to stay at this hotel.||||Two months ago we booked this hotel as we are exhibiting at a trade fair in Brno and all the 'good' hotels in town are either booked up or really expensive. Today (with just a few weeks to go) Hotel Zannam cancelled our booking.||||My wife, who is Slovakian, rang the reception. It was picked up by someone (evidently the hotel owner) who was driving a car. She asked him why the room had been cancelled and he said that it must have been done by Expedia - she did not tell him that we had used Expedia for the booking. When she mentioned this fact, he rudely said that he did not want her to stay at his hotel anyway! After further insulting my wife he then put the phone down on her.||||10 minutes later I phoned their English speaking telephone line and it was answered by the same person still driving his car! Once again I asked why he had cancelled rooms for an Englishman, German and Slovak who were on business in Brno. He said he did not know anything about this because he was not in reception. When I said that it was obvious he did know because he had spoken to my wife 10 minutes earlier he swore at me saying I did not speak his language and slammed the phone down on me.||When I tried to call back again he ignored me.||||It is evident by the owner's behaviour that we had a good price for staying in his hotel and he knew he could make more money by cancelling our room and selling it to someone else.||||If this is how Hotel Zannam treats guests before they arrive I can wholeheartedly recommend that you DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.||||We have complained to Expedia, trade and hotel...

This object should not use name hotel, due to it not provide service quality on hotel’s level. I recommend everyone to avoid hotel Zannam.

I did not have possibility to accomodate in the hotel due to I arrived at 23 oclock and reception is closing at 21. Hotel didnt have self-service accommodation system and didnt want to make any exeptions as well.( I informed them about my time of arrival immediately after book the room). In my opinion it is not pro-client approach ( especially that is hotel, no pension or guesthouse). Host stopped answer to my next messages. Now hotel does not agree to refund cost of the reservation (it was paid during book).

I do not recommend that hotel due to service quality. You can find better accommodation close to Brno at the similar price.

Ten obiekt nie powinien używać nazwy hotel, ponieważ nie zapewnia jakości usług na poziomie hotelu. Polecam wszystkim unikać hotelu Zannam.

Nie miałem możliwości zakwaterowania w hotelu, ponieważ przyjechałem o 23:00, a recepcja jest zamykana o 21. Hotel nie miał samoobsługowego systemu zakwaterowania i nie chciał też robić żadnych wyjątków. (Poinformowałem ich o moim czasie przyjazdu od razu po dokonaniu rezerwacji pokoju). Moim zdaniem nie jest to podejście proklienckie (zwłaszcza hotel, a nie pensjonat). Gospodarz przestał odpowiadać na moje kolejne wiadomości. Teraz hotel nie zgadza się na zwrot kosztów rezerwacji (został opłacony podczas rezerwacji).

Nie polecam tego hotelu ze względu na jakość obsługi. W podobnej cenie można znaleźć lepsze zakwaterowanie w...

😊: Hotel has free private covered car park, room was clean and have all the basic needs (TV, mini fridge, wifi) Location is not close to city center but there is tram stop in front of the hotel, that take you to center in about 15 minutes.. 😢: They asked to performer some additional operation to check in / check out via an external application, which was little strange and confusing.
