Whole place smells of cigarettes and there was a strong cigarette smell in the first room we got (gave us both a headache very quickly), that room also had broken windows with blinds that could not be opened, so it was permanently dim. We asked reception if they could give us a different room, they moved us to an identical room right above. That one had functional windows and wasn't stinky, which was nice. The room was quite cramped with the living area just about fitting a double bed, some wardrobes and a tiny useless desk. Two glasses were provided, with nothing to put in them. No tea, no kettle. We paid extra for a "spa bath" which turned out to just be a bathtub with some water jets. We filled the tub and turned the jets on, from which a good amount of filth and even some dead insects immediately dislodged (see attached photo). We felt so disgusted we never used the jets thoughout our stay. As a cherry on top, the towels room service got us for our second day had some brown stains on them, and the already half-empty hand soap bottle that was in our bathroom was very obviously watered down. There was also something that looked like a thermostat on the wall, but was, as far as we could tell, just for decoration. Would have been useful for the hot evenings. This wasn't even the cheapest room, so I struggle to imagine what the cheapest one actually looks like. For the aforementioned reasons we ended up spending very little time in our room, only coming back in the evening to sleep. Waste of money. Avoid especially if you can't stand cigarette smell, as you can never truly escape it.

Pros: the pansion is in a quiet zone, ~30 mins public transport to the city center, bus stops are in a 4 min walk distance. Cons: -the owner of the place doesn’t speak english -they changed the room i booked to a smaller one(16m2 to a 12m2)(they paid back the difference) -the 12m2 room is facing the street, so it can be noisy if the traffic is big enough, for us, it was fine -the blinds are always down, and you can’t do anything about it, because the cables that move it are broken -as you can see in the pictures, the room had mold on the street side of the room, the other side was moist close to the floor, it’s possible the laundry room causes the issue next door. -the bathroom had a tower dryer, but it didn’t work -no room service, and that can a problem when they give you 1 roll of toilet paper, for a room that you book for 4 days. It doesn’t worth the price, that’s for sure. By the end of the trip, i can’t recommend the 12m2 room. It’s possible, that the other rooms are fine.

Vana s vířivkou, lednička a opravdu pohodlná postel. ☺️

We had a 4 night stay at Vanessa. The troubles started when they booked the room for only one person. When we asked to make it two, they suddenly changed our room to another. No emails, no notification, they just chaged it. They paid some EUR back, but we didn't know why, until we arrived to the hotel and stepped into another room. The bed sheets were dirty, the blinds weren't working, so you have to sit in the dark. We got only 1 and a half toilet papers, which is ridiculous for a 5 days stay. The soap was half empty and watered. One of the lamp light was broken. The bathroom and the rooms were also full of mold. The radiator had a weird sound if you turn on for 4. We had a stay at the winter, but if you go at summer, it's problably very hot, because there is no air conditioner. One of the plugs were broken, which is very dangerous. There is no room service, they didn't change the towels or the toilet papers-in a spa hotel!! The room's equipment were poor, no glasses, no frigider, you only get 2 towels and thats all. They don't speak english, so if you try to communicate with them via email, they will not respond. We sent an email about the room changes, and we get a "." as a respond after 4 days. Summarized, the place is full with mold, broken things,...
