Golf Resort Kaskáda — Hotel in okres Brno-venkov

We stayed for 4 days. The room is spacious and clean. However, if you want to use the AC you have to ask the front dest for the AC remote and pay extra each nite for it. Not what you expect from a resort. The golf courses were nice. They were a little short and squeezed together. 3 nine hole courses. The local tournaments dictate what is available for the guests to play. We had to play the same nine hole course twice one day and the next we had to play the same nine hole course again with a different nine. When I asked if we could play the two nines that we had not yet played, we were told no. The restaurant has a limited menu. There is no lunch style food for lunch after an early tee time. So, no burger, club sandwich, or lighter fare. And, of course the one thing that can make or break a visit any where and doesn't cost anything but when you get it, it is invaluable, the service. The service is poor at best. From the very beginning when I was trying to book, to check in, the golf counter and even the golf shop. You are almost on your own. There are one or two people that do all of those tasks. And if you need just a little help it is overwhelming. Even the wait staff was slow and a little snooty. I would like to believe that the issue is understaffing. My wife and I have stayed at a few resort golf hotels and this does not come close to the service and quality of the others. And as for the value. I think you pay too much for what you get. I only had a good time because of the person I was with. If you are looking for a true "Resort" atmosphere, this is not your destination. I am glad I came, but I would never recommend this...

The choices were limited, and the taste left something to be desired. I found myself venturing out to local eateries for a more satisfying morning meal. Despite this minor flaw, I wouldn't hesitate to return to this golf resort or recommend it to others. I have to update my review which is 6 years old. As I read it nothing change in restaurant and that is the reason why I give 3 stars. I would give 4.5 without restaurant. So the course review. We played our yearly competition there with group of 16 people. Have to than to management of the course for great organization. Everything went smoothly. Course is in great shape despite some roughs ruined by wild boars. The easiest there is the Iron course, the middle one called Stone is more up and down and provide interesting shots with opportunity to score. The toughest one is the Wood and because of length and design. Fairways and greens are in good shape for this time of the year and even we were caught with bad weather, we had hails and rain we were able to play and score. Kaskada is place where are many big national competition held and also this place is famous with its sculptures. The whole facility offer everything you ask for, wellness, good golf course and relax. I suggest to come and see for yourself and have the experience. Thank you for hospitality and please do something about the restaurant, we would like to feel welcome, like on course.
