Hájovna Svahová — Hotel in okres Chomutov

Is there a better place, where you'd be happy to spend a misty morning ? That's a simple no from me. This 'establishment', let's call it, is owned by a family, that cares for their guests. You can get a taste of their home grown/home prepared meat, grab a cup of coffee and even get something sweet as a dessert, fresh out of the oven. Go and check this place out, order a beer and go look at the amazing surroundings, where the atmosphere of amazing nature is enriched by cute cows and sheep roaming the surrounding...

😊: A lovely, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. It was spotlessly clean.

Dana is very welcoming and speaks excellent German. As it was my birthday she gave us some delicious homemade pavlovas.

Tip: we were travelling from Germany and our sat nav sent us through a forest - very scary in the snow and ice with not another soul in sight! The best route is from the border crossing at Olbenhau - the house is a 25mins drive from there on good roads that are cleared...

😊: Die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich, herzlich und unkompliziert. Da wir spät dran waren und die umliegenden Restaurants schon zu hatten, haben wir noch ein Abendessen bekommen. Die Ferienwohnung ist prima ausgestattet, hat genau die richtige Größe und liegt landschaftlich toll mitten im Grünen und trotzdem nahe an der nächsten Stadt. Es gibt einen Schuppen, der eine Art "offene Kneipe" ist und von morgens bis ca. 22 Uhr allen Vorbeikommenden offen steht. Wenn die Türen offen sind, kann man einfach reingehen, sich ein Bier zapfen oder eine Limo holen und das Geld in den Briefkasten werfen. Dann kann man drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Das scheint eine Tradition zu sein, viele einheimische Radfahrer und Wanderer nutzen diesen Zwischenhalt.. 😢: Es gibt keine Maschine für Filterkaffee. Wer diesen morgens trinken möchte, sollte sich eine mitbringen. Die Treppe zur Ferienwohnung ist steil und für Geheingeschränkte herausfordernd,...
