The Goldfinch B&B — Hotel in okres Děčín

Large pension with frindly owners, parking place, good breakfast. But... there is always some but. Where to start? some rooms without facilities (but they are available on the corridor) and with really old equipment (if you are Czech, you will remmember old labor unions (ROH). Wi-fi available in the breakfast room only (so forget streaming or work in the room). You will get the key from the room, but not from the pension, so you have to get back untill 22:00 o'clock... And finaly, if you going to pay with the card, the bank transcation fee will be charged to you, additionally to the room costs. On the other hand, the cleanliness was really good and the pension was full of guests. The distance to the natural park is short and the forest...

It is a family run pension and the owners were friendly. The place is quaint and peaceful. The rooms were average and so was the breakfast. During our check-out, we saw that there were some discrepancies with the bill - for example, we played billiards only 3 times but the bill said we played 12 times. We got this sorted out. But later (half-way home) we also saw that they charged us for a couple of extra beers and water which we never ordered. All in all, the stay was not the best but not the worst either. And do check your bll thoroughly...
