Domazlice is a beautiful area of Western Bohemia with rolling hills, ancient villages and very friendly locals. You can enjoy yourself at a very high level and experience a bargain in your vacation by staying a few days in this wonderful community. This is a small hotel in historic building on main street of Domazlice. Modern, well appointed, comfortable beds, great location and very helpful staff in Barbora and Eva. The breakfast is excellent, services include good internet as well as fair money exchange. Location is ideal, on main street of city with 3 - 4 excellent restaurants and cafes literally right outside hotel. Our group had some of us in the regular suite rooms as well as the family suite and the accommodations were very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. Train station is 2km from Hotel, I would recommend you make arrangements for transport to/from hotel with the front desk. Domazlice is active during the day but shops close at 6:00, so reserve your time after 6 for lounging at the many outdoor cafes and please sample some of the traditional local food and beer available. Hotel Zlatá včela has been my hotel of choice for several years as I travel to the Czech Republic annually. Perfectly placed in Domazlice with several restaurants and shopping right out the front entrance. The hotel is always clean and organized. The breakfast served is a great way to start my day. A well recommended hotel to stay at.
This hotel does not have a reception desk, only a check-in machine by the front door. Not having an actual person there to answer questions or assist in checking in is frustrating. The payment system is also not US Visa card friendly, had issues trying to pay online and had to pay at the...

Stayed here for 1 night with a late arrival, at 23:00 the whole town of Domzalize is empty.We informed the hotel and the room cards were in the locker box, no problem.The hotel has a nice atmosphere and the room beautiful,clean and spacious.The breakfast room is small but the breakfast good and enough choice, all in mind the price level of this hotel , at least 75% less expensive as other hotels in Germany or so with the same quality . will stay here...
