😊: I have to say this has been a pleasant surprise in every regard. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, even offering a self check-in option late in the evening to match our travel plans. The place is easily accessible by both car and public transport, easy to find and a breeze to check in/out. I especially like that they get all the basics right – the room is spacious and well-equipped, the bed offers extra pillows, the shower is great and we were offered excellent continental breakfast at a very reasonable price. Skvělé a čisté ubytování za více než přijatelnou cenu s milým a ochotným personálem. Mají check-in až od 14. hodiny, já přijel do Kdyně už kolem jedenácté dopoledne, a jelikož mě čekal turistický výšlap po okolních kopcích, chtěl jsem se pouze po telefonu zeptat, jestli bych si někam v penzionu nemohl uschovat těžký batoh, abych jej nemusel celý den tahat. Než jsem se stačil nadechnout, paní majitelka mě přivítala s tím, že do pár minut budu ubytován. A tak se i stalo. Nikdo neřešil o několik hodin dřívější příjezd. Při check-outu opět spokojenost, můžete platit kartou, což se zdá jako samozřejmost, ale v menších penzionech to někdy bývá problém. Na pokojích bylo čisto od povlečení po koupelnu/toaletu. Šumavu jsem si zamiloval, a určitě se i do penzionu Janka v budoucnu vrátím.

Great and clean accommodation at a more than affordable price with polite and helpful staff. They have check in after 14:00, but I arrived to Kdyně about eleven 11 AM, and as I was expected to go for a demanding trip in the surrounding hills, I just wanted to ask if I could lock my heavy backpack somewhere in the house not have to drag it for all day. Before I could even breathe, the owner greeted me with the fact that I would be accommodated within a few minutes. And so it happened. No one has dealt with my earlier arrival. When checking out again, I was more than satisfy. You can pay by card, which seems to be a matter of course, but in smaller guesthouses it is a problem sometimes. The rooms were clean from bedding to the bathroom/toilet. I fell in love with surrounding area of Šumava, and when I return next time I´ll definitely choose...

We came to this Penzion after being let down very badly by another Penzion in Klatovy which we had booked. This Penzion was modern and very clean. The beds were very comfortable with lovely sheets and quilts. It had a fridge with mini bar, a full length mirror. They have a Pizza restaurant downstairs, we sampled the pizzas, which were very big and very nice. We had a very peaceful nights sleep the area...
