Pension Smetanův statek — Hotel in okres Hradec Králové

One of the last summer weekends I thought to take my son for a trip and to travel to Hradec Kralove to one of the biggest airshows taking place in Czech Republic the CIAF http://www.airshow.cz/index.php?lang=2.||||This is the most visited air show of the year /up to 80 thousand visitors/. We took the whole day trip from Prague and have spent most of the whole day at the event. Since this was quite extensive I have booked this farm pension the day before to rest for the next day home return.||||Located approx. 10 km from the airport in a quite village the first impression was very very good. This is not a pension at all. This is a privately owned and well maintained farm offering 7 rooms.||||The farm offers a private and secure outside parking. After the arrival you find a large terrace with tables. The outside is truly nice and maintained with love.||||Entering the farm´s reception area was another very positive experience. Everything well maintained, clean with peaceful atmosphere. We were truly surprised, there was nobody from the personell around. In some hotels this may be a problem, however in this atmosphere zhis was no problem at all. I called the owner and he arrived in 10 minutes. I took a complimentry beer in the mean time :-)||||We have got a very nice room under the roof and our single bed was extended for two as requested in our reservation the day before.||||Ok, the rooms are a bit outdated and the technical quipment is not the best, we however stayed for one night and these facts did not bother us at all.||||The restaurant menu is very simple and the main dishes are mostly fried chicken and co., however if you travel with children, this is not wrong at all. They love it.||||And one more thing concerning the food. They prepare their home made vegetable salads. These come from their farm and I truly suggest to try one of them. This is also one of the things the farm is popular about.||||Breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast menu is ok and meets the needs.||||So, if you are looking for a quite and peaceful peace of land to stay to and would like to leave the city for a nice relaxing time, this should be your place to go when you enter the area of Hradec Kralove and...

Příjemný penzion v okolí Hradce Králové. Paní majitelka je velmi příjemná. Pokoje jsou obyčejné s velkou TV, koupelna nově zrekonstruována, zdi hodně tenký (vše je slyšet) Snídaně jsou servírovane, a moc dobré, vajíčka a zelenina jsou z vlastní farmy.
