Great place in a quiet location on Cross hill overlooking Jeseník. ||Excellent place to start day trips to local attractions, for hiking or skiing in winter (several ski resorts within driving distance).||The road to get to the hotel is quite steep, but during our stay in January the snow was cleared regularly. There is free outside parking and a small garage at an additional charge. ||The new modern but cosy and comfortable rooms have flatscreen TV (only czech programmes) and nice views - as most rooms have a balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a rainshower, hairdryer and floor heating. ||The Sauna area on ground floor with big rainshowers, whirlpool for 2 people and balcony can be booked for private use at additional charge. ||Breakfast is served at a seperate reakfast area with an extensive buffet.||Part of this comfortable hotel is the excellent restaurant with a big fireplace offeering a variety of steaks and meat specialties. ||Very good service at the restaurant also taking care of the hotel. During our stay especially Miroslav was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely...
Read moreI rate only the reastaurant. The location of the place is beautiful, but unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of trying the restaurant. The waiter, who spoke polish actually, which was nice, rudely told us that the waiting time is one and a half hour, because they are extremely busy. The fact was they had two bigger tables reserved, but the rest inside were already finishing their meals. Outside there were still few more free tables. The waiter cleared our table, but never came back to take the order. He said that they are so busy, they will run out of soup bowls. Why on earth do you offer so many seats, when you are not able to service and serve even 75% of them? Absolutely horrible way of treating customers. We left and walked down to Jesenik and had a nice meal in the center of the town, for much less money and pleasant service. For such a lovely looking place, with so high prices, they should invest in training the waiting staff in...
Read moreThe hotel is new, quite clean, the breakfast is very good.||The interior of the restaurant is unique.||The weak point of the hotel is currently the restaurant, which should be the most important element of the whole. Poor steaks, probably the weakest I've ever had. Salads are practically non-existent, one can get the impression that the kitchen does not know how to make simple salads, let alone larger salads. Not even a sopski salad. Instead of striving for a poor steakhouse, a better solution would be to focus on traditional Czech food, e.g. duck, beef with cream, hot stone, real goulash (the one they serve has practically no meat), lard, good snacks for beer, fried cheese, real sauce Tatar, etc.||Twenty or even eight years ago it was the best restaurant in the area. It was a pleasure to sit and eat with friends. Now it is an average restaurant, and the atmosphere is only due to the unique decor...
