Rekreační středisko Prachovská osma — Hotel in okres Jičín

Prachovská Osma is a wonderful place! A small and quiet minicamping, we stayed on one of their (only five) tent spaces (plus twelve cabins, did not see those from the inside). The place is clearly run with lots of love, personnel is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is limited but the food (both dinner and breakfast!) is VERY good and not expensive at all.

Osma feels like an oasis of space and quiet after seeing other (party) campings in and around Český ráj. Loved the common fireplace and the kiosk to have a dry outside-spot when it's raining. Ping-pong bats etc can be borrowed.

Free warm (proper!) showers all day are wonderful. The common facilities (toilets, showers, small kitchen) are well-equipped and sufficiently clean for use. They could do with some extra daily sanitary attention (i.e. showers are mopped often but hairs not removed, kitchen could use a daily cleanup as it is often left untidy/dirty by guests) but this is a minor remark compared to the overall feeling of our stay - we...

The camp is very comfortable, staff is kind, environment as well. All cabins are very clean, matrasses perfect, it will overcome your expectations. Food is really tasty. Menu is quite short like 5 meals but everyone can choose. Maybe try to change meals as days go as after few days it's boring to eat the same meals every day. Dávám 5 hvězd. Ne proto, že by ubytování v chatce bylo jako v hotelu. Chatka je ve stylu 80 let, ale čistá, fajn ložní prádlo. Vše natřené. Ale proto že se jedná přesně o ten druh přespání který čekám. Popravdě jsem čekal horší stav chatky. Celkově je areál kempu velmi klidně místo s milým chováním obsluhy. Rád jsme si dali jídlo v restauraci, i když jsem ho čekal mírně levnější, ale bylo velmi chutné a proto to nehodnotím negativně. Místopředseda je stylové pro horolezce, ale je otázka kolik horolezců dnes vlastně ještě je... Po dobu našeho pobytu byli v areálu spíše rodiny s dětmi a místní cvičnou lezecí stěnu nikdo nevyužíval. Jezdí už lezci méně? Nebo jezdí v pracovní dny? Byli jsme na místě jen krátce přes víkend, ale určitě se v budoucnu s rodinou vrátíme. Příroda okolo je přesně podle našeho gusta. V kempu je možné si rozdělat oheň a nebo opect cokoliv. Parkování auta bezproblémové. Je možné zajet i s karavanem. Zachody a koupelny byly pěkně udržované.
