Hotel Srní — Hotel in okres Klatovy

Go-to base for exploring the magnificent Šumava National Park, offering quality, comfort and value-for money.

Srní is in the heart of Šumava, close to a number of outstanding nature trails as well as several castles, palaces and other architectural wonders. It has a couple of restaurants, an art gallery, a church and a lot of peace and quiet.

I have stayed in the Šumava Depedence, which has fulfilled my needs. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with good beds and adequate water pressure. Wifi signal is adequate through the buildings. The breakfast buffet is open over several hours, with a wide range of choice and good staffing levels. The buffet at Srní does offer more choice; during my stay the breakfast room at Šumava was only sometimes open, so it was a short walk to more choice. At Hotel Srní there is also a well-run well-stocked bar, fine dining as well as buffet options, and the lovely 25m swimming pool, sauna and steam bath facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful, enhancing a highly enjoyable...

We stay here few days only. Location of the hotel is in the small nice village, so people whohas problem with long distance walking can walk in the village and around because ways are asphalted and therefore also suitable for disabled people. Also hotel is partially barrier-free. Big advantage is realy big (25 x 12.5 meters) swimming pool with easy access. Breakfasts are standard continental, everything is continously added so you can't awake up early and style you will all choices 😉 Dinners you can choose ala carte or buffet style. Both are very good. It was for first visit, but during second visit from 11.8.2024 till 13.8.2024 we have very different experience - very limited selection during buffet dinners, cold sausages, eggs and others during breakfasts :-( Personal is very professional, happy if they can help you. I can recommend this hotel for short and also long stay during vacation also with families...

Sport hotel in the heart of Sumava . We stayed only 2 nights. We appreciated cheap price for our stay, decent breakfast and huge pool with wellness area after the hiking.|We were disappointed with the mold smell in the lobby area, old furniture, dirty wellness area with spider webs everywhere. Total lack of parking lots ( be prepared not to be able to park your car anywhere after 6pm) |Waiting in the bar for 20 mins to get finaly noticed and order the drinks is really something you do not expect in 4hotel.|(BTW this is not in any way 4hotel) |Extremely crowded, with conferences running also during the weekend, which caused full and noisy enviroment. Thick walls also did not add up the points of the quiet and relaxing wellness weekend. |Village Srni is far away from anything, I do recommend to stay in Modrava or Kubova Hut instead and search for different hotel there.For us the first and last visit...
