Hostinec u Janatů s ubytováním — Hotel in okres Kutná Hora

😊: Only plus was location, in nice small city between hills.. 😢: Unfriendly and angry owner. First she said she doesn’t have our reservation. She was showing me some printed reservations and telling my name was not in it. It was 20 and we were very tired after working all day. She said she doesn’t have free room so we cannot stay. We finally pushed her to show us her booking application and guess what. Our reservation was there and she gave us a key. On the booking it was said dogs are allowed but it occurred she hated dogs too. And dogs are allowed if their weight is less than 8 kg. So we fighted again. In the end it occurred that our room is upstairs, but stairs are more like a ladder. So if you have dogs/children or any physical limitations you just stay in the car. The owner had a free rooms downstairs but she refused to give us one. Of course there was restaurant which is closing at 19 so no chance to...

We spent a whole weekend here and it was just great. This is a nice restored building, with modern/rural rooms, everything super clean and the owners are truly wonderful. The food was delicious, we had breakfast included, but we went every night for dinner, as they have a great menu with traditional Czech dishes. They also have a beautiful garden with a covered swimming pool, which they keep at 27°C. I really have no complains at all, our stay was absolutely wonderful! I totally recommend this place if you are going to visit Kutná Hora (about 45 mins. by car) or any city nearby, as Čestín, where this house is located, is a beautiful and peaceful village to rest and also discover its amazing...

We were there just for a lunch, but the owners and workers are super nice and kind, ready to do more than it is necessary. Pleasant family atmosphere and care from the employees. Amazing experience and I could only recommend this place. Wait.. the meal Svíčková was amazing...
