Chalet Smědava — Hotel in okres Liberec

Seit der Einführung der Systemgastronomie vor 2-3 Jahren hat das Ambiente im Wittighaus stark gelitten. Früher sind wir immer mit den Ski von Bedrichov zum Wittighaus gefahren um dort schön zu sitzen und zu essen. Heute ist es nur noch Massenabfertigung. Zudem ist dort bereits 17 Uhr geschlossen und man wird als Gast abgewehrt. Gerade am Abend nach der 25km Ski-Tour will der deutsche Gast 3 Biere trinken, eine Knoblauchsuppe essen und einen Back-Käse. Ein Ski- und Wanderausflug ist das Wittighaus nicht mehr wert. Es fehlen bloß noch die Kötbullar und man denkt man sitzt im IKEA-Restaurant. Ich weiß nicht, ob das in Tschechien üblich ist: Einige Gäste wickeln ihre Babys auf dem Esstisch - danach war es bei mir völlig aus! Das Wittighaus ist keine gemütliche tschechische Baude mehr - wir planen unsere Skitouren ab jetzt woanders hin.

Since the introduction of fast food gastronomy 2-3 years before, the cosiness of this typical czech mountain restaurant is completely lost. In the past we used the Smedava Boude as one point in our ski-tour from the village Bedrichov to sit and eat good. Today it is ony mass processing. Unfortunately this place close early at 17:00 o clock and the late guest will be repelled by the staff. Especially in the evening, the german ski tourist like to sit, trink 3 beer, eat a soup with garlic and fried czech cheese. A Ski- or hinking trip to Smedava Bouda is not worth anymore. Only the Kotbullar are missing - otherwise you may believe to sit inside an IKEA-Restaurant. I dont know if it is usual in czech republic: Some guest clean and wrap their babys on the dining table - after this moment I completely end with Smedava Bouda. Our next ski trips in this area will go to Jizerka or we eat in Bedrichov. Never ever...

Visited yesterday. Very efficient food servis, tasted good, prices are a bit high. Interior is like a gay-bar in Berlin. The old sudeten smědava feeling is anihilated and burried for ever. Very unsensitive of the doctor-owner.

Have never read so much bad publicity about a restaurant in cezch. Poor food quality, exsuberant prices. The owners should rethink the price to...

Expensive even for local touristic region. You will get good old self-catering service with not really good quality food (for given price). You can find better restaurant, bistro, café etc. few km around - cheaper and better quality. For owners: you shouldn't really ask for "German crown's" price but providing Czech service from...
