I've stayed at Hotel Sport on numerous occasions before, but since I'm a member of TripAdvisor - I finally decided to give them a review.||||Don't be put off by basic facilities (bed, tiny tv-set, wardrobe, chair, mirror, bathroom) - rooms are simple but clean. Bed is comfy enough to get you through the night, specially if you enjoyed a glass or two of a brilliant Czech lager.||||It's close to any business in Kralupy (Synthos in my case), and it's approx. 30-40 mins drive to Prague downtown.||||Food served in a cafe and restaurant downstairs is really good (usual in Czech Republic), freshly made to order, and they serve draught Pilsner Urquell (it doesn't need any recommendation, I think). We've never seen so strange elevator, unfortunately climbing the stairs with all our luggage was not the option 'cause we got room on the 5th floor. When we opened our room, it had a bad smell of cigarettes even though it was forbidden to smoke in the rooms. Bathroom and toilet were clean and renovated, so that was a good thing. Room was really old, dusty and smelly. We got 2 towels with some weird stains on them, good that we brought some of our own. Another good thing was a heating, it was really warm. Temperatures outside were freezing cold so the heating was really the most important thing in the room. The walls are really thin, so you can hear really good when your neighbours are fighting. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, from müssli, over sausages and eggs to sweet pastries...you really get everything. |So if you're not really needy person than I would recommend this hotel, and of course bring...
