We came only for the food and weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious and we were so hungry, we didn’t manage to take any reasonable pictures of it. 😁
During the asparagus season in the middle of the asparagus county around Mělník we of course started with entrée assembled from green asparagus stems and white bread rolled in crispy pancetta. Paired with perfect pouched egg and mayo. And all slightly scented with a little bit of truffle 😍
As main dishes we ordered StreetCatering signature The burger - oh man 🤤 - and Ribeye steak med-rare paired again with both white and green asparagus and Hollandaise sauce. I knew it would be great once I heard the cook whisking the eggs. Fries and baked potatoes with herbs as sides were delish as well.
Únětice for beer-lovers and quite decent selection of wines together with desserts - overall impression seems to be more than positive.
The place itself is genuinely beautiful and considering it is only 20 minutes ride from Prague? I believe this wasn’t our last visit. Next time maybe overnight.

I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at the guesthouse “Na Kmine” This is a stylish place close to Prague (Czech Republic). In only a 45-minute drive from the airport, I ended up in the remarkable location where there is not only accommodation but a unique newly renovated venue barn, with a capacity of up to 400 people used for weddings, parties or celebrations, conference room for corporate events, team building and workshops, Yoga hall, massages and amazing food!
All place is in an elegant boho style where you feel cosy and special.
All the staff is friendly and helpful, the menu at the restaurant was extraordinary and the nibbles in the evening venue menu were to die for! Next time I know even the little ones have a place to play in a secret hideout/playroom…
