Hotel Galatea — Hotel in okres Mladá Boleslav

I am writing this review with 100% honestly. Two weeks ago, we have celebrated our wedding at Hotel Galatea, and hence we were in very intense communications with couple of staff from the hotel. If I can write one review, that will be taken seriously, I wish it is this one. So firstly - considering, that this is not very touristy place, I must say that ALL staff were very professional, always kind and polite. Most of my foreign guests were mentioning, that it was a very pleasant surprise - from the servers, to reception, cook - everybody was very friendly and always ready to help. I can 100% recommend the wedding planner from the hotel, Mrs. Veronika - she is lovely, has great connections and ideas and always responds in timely manner, is ready to help with all your ideas. The main chef - Mr. Vlado - Out of this world. This guy...?!? He had free hand to create our wedding menu, as well as the bufet options for the evening, and oh God, he did. The food was delicious, amazing, over the top! 100% success. And the place itself - it is sooo convenient for family celebrations, especially for the weddings. We booked full place, all rooms were clean and ready for us, we did not encounter single problem. The hotel areal is very well taken care of, very neat and clean. All over all, it was the best weekend of my life, and a big part of this goes to hotel Galatea and their staff. I am so thankful and so happy we have decided to get married here, and I am sure we will be coming in upcoming months and years....

The hotel is located in a quiet area near Mladá Boleslav.|Most of the guests were employees on business trips, as Skoda Auto is nearby.|The building is from the 90s, everything is clean and tidy. There is a large parking lot in the area for guests of the hotel and the restaurant, which seemed to be of a high standard.|You will also find a nice park and a pond here. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. Social events such as celebrations etc. can also be organized here.|My room 112 was very spacious, the high standard also includes a large flat screen TV, capsule coffee machine, adjustable air conditioning and perfect blackout curtains. The windows can be fully opened. There was a bathtub in the bathroom. Cleanliness was at a high level. The double bed with a high, firm mattress was very comfortable. There was also a sofa in my room. Wifi was fast and reliable. The room was more of a 5* standard than a 4* in terms of equipment.|Breakfast was earlier than in 3*, as far as the choice is concerned, I expected a more varied choice. They will make scrambled eggs for you to order.|The staff was very polite...
