Hotel Garden of Eden — Hotel in okres Náchod

First of all i would say this is a nice modern hotel with a very nice spa and wellness centre and pleasant friendly staff. It just needs a little more organisation to make it even better. So read my review with that in mind I certainly wouldn't want to put any visitors to the lovely town of Nove Mesto nad Metuji off staying and I admire the owners for being ambitious and wish them only success.||||I have stayed at the RZ several times now since it very first opened when a few teething troubles were to be expected. It is a nice place but in some ways very odd with random small things becoming irritants. The first few items we stayed we chose an exclusive room, very nice if odd decor a nice bed and amenitities but a huge bathroom with nothing in it except a reasonably large very nice shower. By nothing I mean no shelving or flat surfaces for toiletries etc. The shower cubicle is spoiled by having absolutely nowhere to place soaps etc on -trndy but stupid minimalism. I ended up balancing a small Gel bottle on top of the hand shower head , about 1.5cm in diameter.||||Anyway to fast forward to this stay -end of August we chose a different room style as it was very hot in Cz and the exclusive room had no a/c and lots of windows. ||The superior room was nice with a lovely view but the main building has no a/c and thats not good with the afternoon temp at 35C. Clealry they cannot magic up a/c but it is installed in the restaurant and spa which are in the same building as most rooms.|| . Hotel should have provided fans as rooms very muggy at night but they didnt have any even after 6 weeks of the hottest summer on record in Cz .||||We have used the spa before and its very nice, my wife invited a friend who lives nearby for a morning at the psa after checking the previous day it would be open-answer yes of course its open. Next day comes and they go to the spaf or 0930 session -its closed. Back to reception to ask whats going on-pool being cleaned I will come and tell you when its finished-go and have a coffee-no one appears so back to reception, when will pool be open-it is now around 1100 and the answer is -3 o' clock so a lot of wasted time and embarrassment.||||Grumble 2 is that as well as there being no a/c or fans .the 'spot what we forgot' technique in the bathroom , again nice size and quality , but no shower , 2015 and no shower! A very nice free standing whirlpool bath but no stand up shower and no curtains , screen etc . A little more storage space but only a little . ||||On the credit side the restaurant has improved and is a reasonable price in a very reasonable price country for food and drink. We had a lunch and dinner and both were very good with good friendly table service too.||||So will we stay again, well if its mid summer and v hot the answer is probably not-it is just too hot due to the large glazed areas Otherwise we probably will as its very convenient but they DO NEED to sort out the inconsistencies of staffing ( some speak excellent English and are very proactive but others seem quite nervous) ...

Jak zacit kde koncit...

Zacneme prijezdem. Co jsem cetl obrnil jsem se na neprijemny personal. Ale opakem je pravdou. Personal je neuveritelne mily a vstricny. Jakakoliv hloupa otazka byla zodpovezena. Na recepci byla slecna velmi ochotna a mila. Byli sme hned se vsim seznameni. Napriklad se nam rovnou omluvila za 4 soukrome akce za nas pobyt. Co taky cekat pred vanocema.

Popojedeme o kousek dal. Nasli jsme nas pokoj a jako studentovi se mi o takovem luxusu mohlo jen zdat. Pokoj cisty zarizeny a pripraveny snad na vse. K naproste dokonalosti a pripravenosti na naprosto vsechhno mi chybel uz jen kondom a ziletka. Po prichodu na nas cekala bohemka rose v rendlicku s ledem tak jak se ma podavat v v te nejluxusnejsi restauraci. Sklo ciste nalestene. Ani za 3 dny jsme v pokoji nenasli plisnicku jak jsem cetl. Po sklence jsme sli nachvilku zajet postel ktera je srdcem pokoje. Lezelo se na ni bozsky musim priznat jen vymenit polstare. Po bohemce to chtelo nejake nealko. Vezmeme minibar utokem !!! Nejhorsi vec kterou mohou dat do hoteloveho pokoje. Clovek na to ma neustale chut. Po zdvihnuti lahvicky spritu a coly jsme zjistili ze uz tam asi stoji nejakou dobu. Pod lahvemi byli nalite kruhy a lahvicky byly prilepene. Ok prvni chybka. To se da prezit.

Po tvrdem gaucinku jsme vyrazili na obhlidku maleho wellness. Finska sauna a vyrivka. Na hodinu a pul dlouhe kolovani mezi timto moje telo asi nebylo pripraveno. Kurakovi plice a cerstve nakynutemu knedlicku to nedelalo dobre. Ale krasne jsem si odpocinul. Ale i tady mam vytku. Chapu ze nikdo nechce do vyrivky kde si pred chvili hosti.... Ehmmm jak to rict.... Udelali intimni chvilku ??? Doufam ze si rozumime. Ale prislo mi dost neprijemne se oblekat zase do plavek kdyz chci prebehnout mezi saunou a vyrivkou protoze kamera nikdy nespi a urcite nechci aby me mohl nekdo pozorovat naheho. Kamery byly bohozel na vetsine mist ale na druhou stranu neuveritelne to prispiva k cistote, bezpecnosti a klidu na hotelu.

Presuneme se k restauraci. Chapu ze vyzaduje urcitou znalost spolecenskeho chovani a taky ze jsem se snazil ale proste vidle prijeli do viru bohatych. Doufam ze se mi nepodarilo nic strasneho ale kdo vi. Stejne tak jak ma vysokou uroven restaurace ma uroven obsluha a snad jeste vyssi ma jidlo. Krasne naaranzovane a pripravene tak jak bych cekal. Samozrejme ocekavejte i ceny kdy za veceri jsme dali 710kc (stejcek a papardele + piti mojito a cider + panacota pro me). Restauraci bych nechal s 5* bez jedine chybicky. Slecna byla tak mila ze ze soukrome akce odbehla aby nas obslouzila na pokoji a ja blbec ji ani nedal dysko. (Meli jsme v cene kavu a zakusek a nemyslel jsem na penize. To se omlouvam)

Nas pribeh pokracuje prvni noci. Okolo 23. Se pustila sprcha a cca 20s zase vypla. Trubky v zachode a nadrzka taky mela potrebu se doplnovat a vydavat vselijake zvuky. Tak snad se to s pristi navstevou opravi. (Pokoj 211 s dokonalym balkonem) takze pokoj bych hodnotil 3* z 5*. Ted slabe povahy prestanou cist a napoji se o odstavec nize. No posledni problem byl kdyz jsme potreboval... Nooo... Lidove slozit kabel. Za boha to neslo splachnout. A to nebyl zadna betonova siska. Normalni vytvor zdraveho traviciho traktu. Ale mozna proto pomohl kbelicek s ledem a bohemkou ktery tento problem vyresil.

Ranni snidane jsou skvele. Tak jak je clovek ocekava. Spousta jidla ktere je hned doplnovano. Veskery sortiment byl hned po vybrani doplnen a vse bylo jak ma byt. Vse bylo cerstve a dobre. Obsluha sbirala nadobi a nemusel jsem si lamat hlavu s tim co a kam dam. Nadhera.

Velke welness bylo taky trochu male. Para, bazen a vyrivka. Takze jen o bazen vetsi nez male. Teda trochu se omlouvam ale z technickych duvodu byl zavren knneipuv chodnik. Takze bohuzel nemohu posoudit. Ovsem velmi pomohl automat na vodu ktery se ve welness nachazel. 2 hodiny tam bez vody by byly trochu dlouhe. Moznost masazi jsme nevyuzili ale kleopatrinu koupel jsme meli v cene takze jsme museli hned. Nemuzu vam to moc vypravet proste jedte a zksuste si to. Je to...
