Panský mlýn — Hotel in okres Opava

All in all it's an okay place. Not too bad but also by no means great.

The location is a bit remote, but If you book here you should be alright with that. It's not astonishingly beautiful but a nice place.

The meals in the restaurant are rather fancy, which honestly isn't my preference. For the fancy food creations you get there the prices are acceptable though, but watch out: It's definitely not everyone's taste. Unfortunately the menu is available in no other languages than Czech, which makes ordering for foreign tourists rather difficult.

Also it seems like a lot of corners were cut when designing the rooms. In many occasions you notice that things you usually would pay no mind to are missing. For example there is no place to put your towel next to the bathroom sink. Other things the bathroom is missing are a place to put your toothbrush and a place to put the toilet paper. Chairs would also contribute to the usability of the rooms. One really good feature of the rooms however is the air conditioning. The hotel is located in an old mill, therefore there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area, so opening the windows at night would cause you more pain than pleasure. Luckily the air conditioner works...

Had a wedding event here and overall was a great place. Food was excellent and had many choices to chose from. Staff was good and brought out the food quickly and served everyone drinks and kept refilling them. But the staff also looked very bored after that were on the phones the rest of the night. Asked for ice 3 times then had to go ask another one for them to finally get it. Only other bad thing was the temperature inside. It was very, very hot and everyone was sweating. The staff refused to turn on the A/C for some reason for hours then they finally said they turned it on but it never worked. Overall was a good place with great food. Great place to spent lazy weekend afternoon. Its converted old mill, its definitely place with character. Situated near the river surrounded by trees and horse pastures. Great coffee. The restaurant has its own brewery facility. There are fishponds just in front of the restaurant. You can catch your own fish and have it done in the restaurant kitchen. There is an outdoor playground for children. The place is accessible by car, by walking and bicycling. Its a popular place for weddings as well, there is place very near the restaurant for outdoor romantic...
