Hotel Isora — Hotel in okres Ostrava-město

This is a basic hotel that reminds of hotels of bygone days. Very basic rooms and at 50 Euro per night it might be acceptable, at 150 Rureo during the icehockey world championship, it was a rip-off. Actually rooms in a Norwegian prison are definitely more attractive, although that might say more about Norwegian prisons than B&Bs.||The taxi driver told us not to walk from the town centre because of a dangerous area nearby, although you would hardly walk anyway, as it is a 5 kilometer walk. It is OK if you are visiting in the area of Koblov.The reastaurant is basic too - think they have been at a tupperware party - verything at breakfast buffet was in plastic containers. But it is clean, and friendly, beds are extremely hard!||But beer is cheap, food not too bad and staff very, very friendly and helpful -.therefore they avoid the lowest score. We stayed one night when passing the city. Secure parking was free and we appriciated that a lot. We felt that Ostrava was unsafe place and we didn't want to leave our motorcyckle on the street. Weard people wondering around the city in the evening!! Room was very basic and ok for overnight stay. Wi-fi worked well at the room. Bed was ok because i like hard beds rather than soft. Staff was nice. There is a pub in the same building. It felt that we travel 30 years back in time.||The most disgusting experience was the breakfast! Very dirty, stains everywhere, toaster had seen his best days, flies came out from marmelade, coffee tasted like cigarets and everything was in plastic containers. Disgusting. We stayed here on a two night trip to Ostrava, and we wanted comfortable accommodation, with access to a restaurant if possible. The hotel certainly delivered this - it was an excellent price and the room we booked, (for three adults with single beds) was spacious and clean. The on-site parking was also welcome.||||We had a couple of beers in the adjacent bar on the first evening, and the next night enjoyed a very nice meal in the restaurant.
