Pierre hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in okres Pardubice

The lack of hospitality at this hotel is appalling. On arrival, the reception lady was not very friendly. Breakfast stops way too early at 10am, as early as 9.30am on Sundays. Moreover, you actually have to arrive at least half an hour in advance because you have to choose breakfast from a menu, there is no buffet. Service is also slow. The breakfast options are also very limited, 5 kinds of egg with extras, muesli with fruit or American pancakes. A classic continental breakfast with croissant + bread and other viennoiserie is unknown here. In the evening, the restaurant closes at 20h, again too early. However, the food is of excellent quality.

The room is spacious and modern, but unfortunately the air conditioning barely works (we had to sleep with the window open because of it) and the mattress is uncomfortably hard. So we barely slept. No minibar. 2 out of 4 nights they did not clean our room or change the towels.

The wifi works excellently. The hotel has its own parking and is conveniently located for exploring the area.

Edit after reading the comment below. Blame it on the guest clearly shows your lack of hospitality. Ridiculous opening hours can not be waved away by referring to the rules posted on the website. Secondly when i say the room was not cleaned i refer to everything. The bed was also not made up for 2 nights, nothing was cleaned and towels left on the floor were not changed. I attended a 2 day conference in a University nearby, so the location of the hotel as well as a direct access to city transport (lines 16, 30) was very convenient (since I was traveling without car). Coming by car would not be a problem anyway, as there is a parking in front of the hotel.

The room,restaurant,food quality and attitude of the receptionist , waitress and managers were excellent. Shortly, just a perfect place for a business trip.

Naše pocity z večeře: Přišli jsme jako dva páry, očekávajíc gurmánský zážitek podobný jako v již zrušeném Cartellone. Po příchodu jsme si pro začátek objednali drinky. Já gin & tonic, kamarád mochito, přítelkyně nealko mochita. Bohužel tonic byl nejspíš již delší dobu rozdělaný, tudíž takřka bez bublinek. Kamarádovo mochito bylo také bez bublin a nealkoholická mochita chutnala bohužel jak oslazená voda. To vše za 400 Kč. Následovaly předkrmy v podobě hovězího carpaccia (200 Kč/ks). To by co do surovin nebylo úplně špatné, nicméně bylo bohužel nedochucené a především některé kusy byly ještě uvnitř zmrzlé. Co se hlavních chodů týče, měli jsme dvakrát parpadelle s nudličkami z pravé svíčkové (275 Kč). Chuťově to nebylo špatné, suroviny super, ale těstoviny byly bohužel dost přetažené, což celkový dojem z jídla pokazilo. Kamarád měl burger s trhanými hovězími líčky (275 Kč). Při této ceně by člověk očekával super nadupaný burger. To se bohužel nestalo. Maso by zasloužilo více péče a sýr na něm ani nebyl rozteklý. Celkově to neodpovídalo ceně. Přítelkyně měla panenku na batátovém pyré a tohle jídlo bylo dobré jak chuťově, tak vzhledově. Nechci, aby recenze vyzněla, že jídlo v Pierre restaurant bylo vyloženě špatné, nebylo. Jen co do kvality neodpovídalo úplně uvedeným cenám. Za ty peníze by to měla být super třída bez kompromisů, obzvlášť, když v restauraci byly obsazeny jen tři stoly a tedy s jídlem by si šlo vyhrát.
