This hotel is probably the best hotel in Kamenice nad Lipou (nice small South Bohemian town between Jindřichův Hradec and Pelhřimov). It is relatively new hotel (2 years max.), quite modern and cosy. Rooms are spacious, simple and clean, with TV, "minibar", wi-fi connection, and nice wc+bathroom. Unfortunatelly the beds are very narrow (we had twin room), so the sleep quality is not the best- it is quite a shame.||There is no elevator in the building, if you have a lot of luggage or small kids, ask for a room downstairs. There is also no hotel parking, so it may be problem.||The staff was ok, polite, not very "warm", but helpful.||Location is ok, everetihing is in close distance (church, bus, train station, chateau with museum and beautiful park,...),Hotel area is quite calm, but sometimes it was noisy because of the restaurant downstairs. ||The restaurant was very good, food was fresh and delicious and not very expensive! Also breakfast was good and rich.||Accomodation is quite expensive, but if you book your room in advance or via some booking site, you can save some money.||If you want to stay at comfy hotel with good dining possibilities and you want to travel around South Bohemia, I would...
Read moreWe have spent week in this hotel and its trully nice 3 star hotel even compare two western europe, which is not common ( i am very frequent traveller). Rooms are very big, nicely furbished and you can find in bathroom (not so big) everything you might need - from toothbrash till glass cleaning tissues - perfect!|Hotel is also biker friendly which we appreciated as we were there to enjoy biking in nearby nice nature so if you like biking, hotel is perfect for you.|Restaurant is good, nothing fancy, but after active day you can have a perfect beer and good dinner (i didnt the super-ultra side dish portions, are we elephants? :) )|The only downside was somehow no cleaning during first two days of our stay. Second, hotel is owned by a pair. Lady is presented during breakfast and you can order a various different eggs (tadty ones!) however as she is face of hotel (also designer) you would expect more friendly or at least professional...
Read moreThe small restaurant/reception gives no clues to the spacious and excellently fitted out guest rooms. Our party had 4 rooms and all were equally good. Modern furnishings, perfectly clean with some nice touches such as free chocolates, slippers, hot drink making facilities, mini bar and a range of toiletries. |The evening bar staff were very helpful and friendly with excellent English. The food was also good and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a wide choice and perfect for us. The price was a little higher than most in the region but you do get a...
