Don´t be deterred by outside 1980´s aspect. Inside it´s quite OK, especially for large groups looking for good price-to-quality ratio. The in-room furniture and bathrooms are newly renovated, corridors and common areas much less so, yet there is free wifi and an array of play areas for kids (incl. airhockey, pinball, pool tables) plus a sauna and a whirlpool. The bar with a fireplace is extremely cozy as well. Weather permitting (it´s often foggy up there), the place offers nice views into the valley and it has very good access to nearby ski resort. Yes, it is traditional old comunistic hotel. But we had no complains. Room basic but fine. Small bathroom with shower but good hot water. Amazing views into The Valley. But it is towards the east so you will get woken up early either by the sun (very symbolic blinds) or by the heat. Breakfast very basic. It was good for one or two nights but no more. But we are very picky so I am sure it is fine for other people. Good...
