A real quirky hotel, not your usual business place. location is really peaceful, I had a rear facing second floor single room and the view was over some trees and a grass area. The whole area seems to just stop at about 10pm during the week it was so quiet. Easy striking distance from prague, dont drive though. its about 1.5km to the train station then 3 pounds (90 ish czech) for a return to prague which leaves every half hour until the last train back from Prague around 11PM. Menu is small, but very tasty and all appears to be freshly home made. Some locals came to eat, so that just proves it good quality! Extremely cheap prices for food and drink compared to the UK, I guess its normal for czech once you arent in the city. Staff are fantastic and work tirelessly to help, they always seem to have at least 1 english and 1 german speaker on shift. The english isnt as good as some hotels, but then again you're not in central Prague. Theyre more than capable of managing the necessary questions and answers. There are squash courts and a gym on site but have to be booked, I havent tried them but have seen people coming and going. The apartments are a seperate block from the main hotel. The hotel is motorbike friendly and there seemed to be quite a few cyclists staying as well. I would definately come back. Oh and I know everyones tastes vary, but I would say the beds are the best hotel beds I have slept in for a long time. I am usually a terrible sleeper away from home but I was very comfy and slept like a log all night...

This place was one of the only choices in the city for under 200$ last minute so we decided we would try it out. It had been a long day of traveling, and walking around Prague with our backpacks so we were very tired already when we arrived. The restaurant offered a nice selection of food as well as live music and a special New Years menu. We skipped the latter to get some rest but did have a few pints of Czech beer and tried some of the food. My wife ordered an ice cream Sundae just wanting something sweet and was blown away-- much better than any sundae she had in the states. I had the beef carpaccio as well as some freshly cooked fries. The carpaccio was as good as any highly...
