Hotel Bílý Lev — Hotel in okres Rokycany

We knew from beginning that this place would be horrible so we had no expectations whatsoever. We booked it to stay there for a weekend in July to attend Fluff fest and since we were a little too late, this was the only accommodation in Rokycany with free rooms left. ||||Fortunately, we got one of the renovated rooms so the furniture and whole room was not bad. But, it was not cleaned there before we arrived! There were still crumbs from the previous guest on the carpet, pieces of wall and hair lying around. That means nobody bothered to vacuum clean the room for some time. After I told the receptionist in the evening and asked for a room service the next day, he was really shocked that I want somebody to clean our room on Saturday! Of course, nobody bothered to come our whole stay. This is not what I expect from a three star hotel.||||Both receptionists were very unprofessional and if we haven't asked about all the basic info like when is the breakfast or check-out, they would have not told us.||||And the breakfast... Who is still offering juice syrup with water as a supplement for a regular orange juice? I mean, even the cheapest orange juice would be better than orange syrup with water. Poor selection, just cheese, some salami, muesli, apple puree. No fruits or vegetables. On Sunday there was not even coffee available anymore. Das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich jemals war. Bad nicht gereinigt, bei Bezug hatte das Waschbecken noch Flecken, die mit einem Lappen problemlos hätten beseitigt werden können. Um in die Badewanne zu kommen, muss man jugendlicher Sportler sein, so hoch ist der Rand. Keinerlei Möglichkeit das Hand- oder Badetuch aufzuhängen. Ich hatte ein 3-Bett-Zimmer zur Alleinbenutzung, mit Balkon, auf den noch nicht einmal ein Stuhl gepaßt hätte. ||||Sterne hat dieses Hotel nicht verdient, aber eine Sanierung von Grund auf, Treppenhaus sieht aus, als ob es zu einer alten Fabrik gehört. ||||Die hier genannten Sprachkenntnissen, sind zumindest für deutsche Besucher nicht vorhanden. Speisekarte fürs Restaurant nur in Landessprache, mündliche Übersetzung nicht gegeben, da man kein Deutsch versteht.||||Frühstück, kann man vergessen. Kaffee-Automat defekt, die Thermoskannen waren nicht gereinigt, wer die letzte Tasse bekam, bekam auch die angesetzen Schmutz der Kanne. ||||Ich war vor 2 Jahren bereits mal dort, es hat sich seither noch verschlechtert, trotz neunem Personal. Hier darf sich wohl jeder vom Ort mal als Hotelier versuchen, ohne vom Gewerbe etwas zu verstehen.||||Mit Fachkenntnissen wäre aus diesem Hotel etwas zu machen, denn der Fernradweg Prag-Paris durchquert den Ort. ||||Der angegebene Preis von ca. 50 Euro ist für die Leistung...

Price is right|Breakfast was typical for Europe. |Rooms are clean. Beds are old small but comfortable. People are really friendly and helpful. Seems safe here. Definitely not a fancy place so don't expect to be spoiled. Tvs are old and small. WiFi is free but extremely slow.
