Horská bouda Dvoracky — Hotel in okres Semily

I´ve been here many times during years. Last couple of years (meaning almost last 8 years) it´s really a terrible place to stop. I would recommend for the hike to take some snacks and drinks. The service is terrible - slow, unpleasant, very unfriendly and unprofessional. Also, be very careful as they like to usually charge you for more than you ordered or it never came to your table (you ordered, reminded and nothing happened - typical scenario). But the last time, was the most terrible for me. This season there was snow (which is typical for this season there) and their toilets were literally under the water. I slipped a bit and hurt my knee, I recommended the owner (the guy with long hairs) that it would be better to clean it. The answer was that the mess is after customers. Yeah, man, and snow is very schocking during this season! And this place is not yours?! So he was looking at me as crazy mad-woman. I don´t care, I said myself, this is the last time we´ve visited this place. It´s really better our well-prepared cheap tea, nice snacks and we don´t have to "bother" the service in this place and pay them for...

Visited in June 2021 during mountain trip. I visited the restaurant several times before and it was quite okay. Last time I did not know if I should laugh or cry. The waitresses are young unskilled teenagers without any training. No system of ordering and servicing. We waited around 15 minutes for menu, next 10 minutes for drinks. After ordering the meals we could see that for example by mistake they served 3x times second meal earlier than soup, if somebody ordered drinks they brought just some of them. Issues on the account, my meal was missing on that, waitress was surprised that I also ate and ask me "did you receive that meal?", finally not able to count together partial account with what was missing. Some people at other tables gave it up and left because the service was tragic. Meal was average taste and quality, beer good. The owner should hire better staff because the service was completely destroying...

Only tried the restaurant, not the hotel. High-traffic place as a lot of hikers stop here for food and drinks. The place is huge but lacks intelligent customer flow management and delivers a very bad experience. The outside seating area has no service, but it is not mentioned anywhere. Inside is table service, but as everyone needs to queue at one place at the bar to both get the table inside (food is ONLY served inside for some reason) and order drinks inside, there is a long queue of hungry and thirsty tourists. If you planned only to get a beer and continue on your way, forget it; it can take an hour or more just to get your order. The staff is arrogant and has an attitude.
