Hotel Prajer — Hotel in okres Strakonice

Needed to stay in Vodnany with my family over one night and booked a 3-beds room in this hotel. When booking, we asked for a double bed and a single bed, but we got a room with 3 single beds. We asked for a change upon arrival but were informed the hotel was fully booked because of some reunion. That sounded pretty scary as we had got the room just above the restaurant but the receptionist/waiter told us we should not worry, that the ceiling was isolated and we would not hear anything. At the end, it seemed there was no party so hard to say if one hears something but I guess one does especially with an open window (people goes out smoking, just below your window). And you need to have an open window as there is no air-conditioner and the room was very warm. But with the open window, you hear the noise from the street and main square...||Had a carp for dinner but did not like, too many small bones, and they did not have potatoes anymore.||Breakfast was ok. Staff nice and trying to help but...||Would I stay again?...

Scheinbar ist das ganze Hotel vor wenigen Jahren neu renoviert worden. ||Die Zimmer sind, verglichen mit ein paar anderen Hotels in der näheren Umgebung (z.B. in Pisek) ziemlich gepflegt. ||Es gibt auch im ganzen Hotel (ausser dem Frühstücksraum- naja partiell wenigstens) kostenloses und flottes WLAN. ||Parken kann man direkt vor dem Hotel auf dem Stadtplatz. Ob das kostenlos ist entzieht sich meiner Kenntniss- ich habe nie bezahlt und nie ein Ticket bekommen :-)||ABER....||Das Restaurant war bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt 2013 wesentlich besser!||Vielleicht hatte ich auch nur Pech. Mir kam es die ersten Tage so vor, wie wenn der Ober ganz alleine wäre und nebenher auch noch die Küche macht. Genauso hat das Essen geschmeckt.||Trockener Fisch, verkochtes Gemüse, fades Pürree. Pampige, zähe, fade Klöse zum Nachtisch. Fleisch samt Bratkartoffeln aus der Friteuse... Nicht unbedingt ein kulinarischer Höhenflug. Dafür einen Tag später, anderes Personal und siehe da, das Steak war perfekt, derSalat dazu ebenfalls.||Dafür war der Zimmerservice...naja, gar nicht vorhanden.||Vermutlich wurde mein Zimmer vergessen. Es war überhaupt nichts gemacht.||Ich habe ja keine grossen Ansprüche daran (auch angesichts des Preises...) aber wenigstens sollte das Klopapier nachgefüllt werden wenn es leer ist...||Ich verlasse das Hotel mit einer zwiespältigen Meinung.||Die Zimmer sind echt gut, das wars dann auch schon. Das Hotel in dem ich vorher für deutlich weniger Geld übernachtete hatte zwar keine so schönen Zimmer, dafür war das Essen um Welten besser, es gab Fitnessräume und auch noch ein...

As there is no other hotel we stay there. Need to be renovated immediately. There was no toiletry, mini bar (just cupboard with sign mini bar), cleaning lady came 2x in 6 days to empty the dustbins and put new toilet paper, doesn't clean the bathroom. Dust was all around the hotel. The curtains in room was full of holes. Breakfast was poor and the same every morning. Reception is at the bar. Room was above the hotel's restaurant terace so it was noise till almost midnight. Parking place is on the...
