Hotel U Apoštola — Hotel in okres Svitavy

All our apprehensions of small towns not having good hotel options were completely eliminated by the very sweet & courteous staff. Not knowing the English language was not at all a barrier for having a comfortable & refreshing stay. Superb location: Another big advantage is the free parking around the hotel. Very neat & well maintained property. Enjoyed a morning walk around the town. Good food : We were served with our choice of eggs for breakfast. For dinner the choices on the menu are also good. Appreciate the eco-friendly sticker for towel replenishment & not keeping any plastic water bottles. They happily refilled our water bottles. Great work by Booking.com which helped to find this hotel.

The superb staff treated our kids fantastically, like it was a privilege to have them there. Special touches with the bedding and breakfast, and gave them fruit when we arrived. The apartment was very spacious with a separate room for the three children (ages six, four, four) and the linens were lovely and crisp. If you can get over the outdated lounge suite, this apartment is a perfect rest stop for a weary family. The hosts gave us fabulous information about seeing local caves and called and booked us onto a tour of the normally fully-booked-in-advance Punkva caves and printed directions for us. Chteli jsme navstivit restauraci a sednout si na zahradku. Na zahradce sedel jeden clovek, asi pan provozni. Obsluha mi rekla ze zahradka se otevira v 14:00, nevadi tak sme si pockali tech 15 minut. Byla nas vetsi parta takze po otevreni zahradky sme si posunuli dva stoly k sobe. Pani z obsluhy, ta sama ktera mi rekla ze oteviraji zahradku pozdeji, me okrikla jak maleho kluka, ze proc tam posouvam ty stoly, ze bych se mel zeptat predem. Omluvil sem se a stul vratil na misto. Na to mi odpovedela ze na zahradce (u restaurace?) se neobsluhuje, jakoze coze? To byla posledni tecka na zaver a rozhodl jsem se, ze penize bych tam neutratil ani kdybych mel velky hlad. Restauraci asi o zisky nejde, obsluha by se mela naucit komunikovat trochu lidsky a ne agresivne. Bylo nas sedm lidi, dve deti a dva psy, chapu ze zabirame misto a mozna jsme vis slyset. My jsme si ale chteli dat obed a stravit prijemny cas. Myslim ze utrata by tam byla slusna. Sebrali jsme se a misto toho sli do...
