Hotel Gold Chotoviny — Hotel in okres Tábor

The Gold is a large, well-maintained and quiet hotel in Chotoviny, which is about 10 km north of Tábor. There is a large free car park.||The motorway from Ceske Budejovice to Prague which is currently under construction can be reached quickly. You should take into consideration that intermittent parts of the motorway are toll roads although the construction of the entire route is far from finished.||Check-in was fast. We were given a spacious though slightly dark attic room with a terrace. There is no privacy though as far as the neighbouring terraces are concerned.||The beds were quite big, the shower spacious. The hotel claims to be 4-star but does not meet expected standards. There is no lift to the rooms, no safe in the room and we also missed a kettle. In the bathroom there were no comfortable and energy-saving single-lever mixers. Also there was no trash bin in the room.||Regarding TV there was not a single foreign channel indicating that the hotel is not really interested in non-Czech clients. This is a very reasonable hotel and very accommodating. They are very friendly here and the rooms are pleasant and still use keys. I stayed alone, but the room I had did accommodate only two total. You would need multiple rooms for larger family. Breakfast was simply great. Freshly cooked and tasty. The rooms are reasonable in price. It was hard to have the window open because of the traffic late at night, even for a hotel off the beaten path, but that was really my only complaint. They do have wifi and it worked well. A wonderful hotel near in a small village near Tábor. ||Rooms are very nice with TV, a little fridge and free wifi. They´re also spacious, same as bathrooms.||A wellness area contains a sauna, whirlpool and relax area. It looks great and it was perfectly clean.||Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and you can choose from a different kind of meals like a soup, all kind of meat, vegetables, cakes, dumplings, rice etc.||A service was very pleasant. No matter if receptionists or waiters, they were very kind and helpful.||It´s about 10 minutes away from Tábor. The hotel has a private parking.||Overall, the accommodation is great...
