Penzion U Farmáře — Hotel in okres Tábor

We booked this stay by a phone during late afternoon after we realized there is no free rooms in Tabor city for tonight. Tired family behind, the property was advertised just 8km far from Tabor - very challenging to stay at Bohemian nowhere... ||We discussed the route to the property with Farm owner and finally reached first sign directing us to the village courtyard. There are three building , a mix of old and new design and architecture. One wooden barn, restaurant with studios above and also one dependence with more rooms. Apparently lot of effort was put by owners into the design and decor. The rooms themselves were very cozy, spacious with a country feel with roof windows. Bathroom had a modern quality with some basic toiletries and lot of towels. A small kitchenette equipped with a kettle and micro owen was a nice surprise for us. Unfortunately we had no chance to have a dinner in farm restaurant at the upper deck, but I believe most of the food is produced by farm. ||Breakfast was good (scrambled eggs / sausage with selection of jams, butter and honey). ||I slept very well, however woke up good refreshed early in the morning due to light coming thru the roof windows without any blinds. ||The final check was fully acceptable. Very good value for the money...

Nebyl jsem tu ubytován, jen jsem procházel z Borotína na chotovinské nádraží a měl jsem velkou žízeň. Na okraji Chotovin mě překvapil tento krásně udržovaný statek/dvůr a zlákala mě vidina točeného pivka. Bylo dávno po sezóně, takže byl člověk rád za každou možnost na chvíli si odpočinout a něco si dát. Měl jsem možnost si chvíli popovídat s majiteli a jsou to moc milí a vstřícní lidé. Celý dvůr, interiéry restaurace i dřevěná předzahrádka jsou krásně udržovány, tipoval bych, že na pokojích to bude stejné.

I wasn't staying here, I was just walking from Borotín to the Chotoviny train station and I was very thirsty. On the outskirts of Chotoviny, I was surprised by this beautifully maintained farmhouse/manor and tempted by the sight of draft beer. It was long past the season, so one was glad for any chance to relax and have something to eat or drink for a while. I had a chance to chat with the owners for a while and they are very nice and friendly people. The whole courtyard, the restaurant interiors and the wooden front garden are beautifully maintained, I would guess that the rooms would...

Obwohl wir am 2. Abend alles komplett gezahlt hatten und darüber auch eine Quittung erhalten haben, wurden wir am 3. Abend vor mehreren einheimischen Bauarbeitern beschuldigt, die Rechnung noch nicht komplett bezahlt zu haben. Erst wurde gesagt, einer von uns hätte gar nicht gezahlt, später ist die Version abgeändert worden und es wurde gesagt, auf der Buchunsseite wären die falschen Preise angegeben und die Leute müssen noch Provision an die Buchunsseite zahlen. Wir kamen uns total verschaukelt vor. So nach dem Motto: deutsches Kennzeichen = Geld zu holen. W-LAN ging auch nicht. War schade, da am Anfang alles sympathisch angefangen hat. Aber das hier hat natürlich einen komplett schlechten Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Hausdame war auch auf einmal wie ausgewechselt. Also seine Gäste so vor anderen bloß zu stellen.... vor allem unberechtigt und dann auch noch auf tschechisch zu wettern... das macht man einfach nicht. Die Pension liegt im Nirgendwo.
