Hotel Tetřeví Boudy — Hotel in okres Trutnov

We just spent 5 days with my family on a ski holiday. Our first time skiing. And this place was amazing. They have their own little blue run and an instructor on hand to teach us how to ski (20€ per hour session).

They picked us up from a car park from the bottom of the mountain in snow truck which was awesome fum for the kids. Our booking came with complimentary breakfast and we paid for the half board which was a buffet dinner. The dinner everynight was different Czech food. Mostly comprised of well cooked mean and vegetables. Everything was really tasty. The breakfast was the usual continental breakfast fare.

There's a couple of things u should know before u go though. First and possibly the most important thing. Make sure you hire you skis before you go to the hotel because there is no convinient place to hire the gear once u get up. You'll have to pay for a taxi to the main town to hire it. Second is that you normally pay the ski instructor directly in cash. There wasn't a cash machine with we were there but the lady at the reception said there should be one next year. But I would recommend bring some cash with u just in case.

All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. They helped us out quite a few times because we were unfamiliar with the area and skiing. The staff were great with the kids. They loved the holiday.

This is a good accomodation, actually entire hotel will exceed your expectations. Amazing pool area, sauna, whirlpool. Nicely renovated restaurant with mix of Czech traditional food and international cuisine such as pasta burger etc. The only surprising fact is, that rooms are not as styled as you would expect. Bathroom is greatly renovated but is missed the perfection by having plastic courtain. Room itself is average when you compare it with the rest of the hotel. Staff is helpful and very professional. A great choice for your holiday or just random lunch or dinner visit. And yes mountain environment is just great, summer nor winter you...

We had a family vacation in the middle of summer. What is nice is that all the photos on Google maps correspond to reality. The rooms are neat and clean. The wellness area is clean, and all services worked properly (swimming pool, jacuzzi, 2 types of saunas). At the reception you need to book a time slot (1.5 hours). Breakfasts are quite varied. Dinner can be ordered either halfboard or a la carte. Everything is delicious. The staff is friendly. The hotel has many areas for rest and relaxation.
