Moravian Mountain Hut — Hotel in okres Trutnov

I have stayed at Moravska three times already (twice at the Chata Vatra), and have visited the restaurant more often than that. The food is pretty much the same quality as in other Czech Krkonose hotels (very good) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are different rooms, some only have a sink, others a shower+sink and others also include a toilet. The rooms are very basic, but clean and always include towels and shower gel and shampoo samples. Especially if you count the included breakfast and the great location, the rooms are priced very reasonably. It's no problem to pay in PLN (EUR too I believe), and the hotel is easily accessible by foot from Jagniatkow, or by foot/car from Spindleruv Mlyn. Moravska bouda is situated on the slope aside of Spindleruv Mlyn, so quiet and not only for the ski-beginner suitable place. I took an opportunity to use the “small” slope with the lift to start slowly this season, my colleagues skied in the next valley well connected for the journey back. in this chalet you’ll feel like to be at someone’s home, so friendly and pleasant atmosphere, tasteful meals and a great choice of drinks satisfy all guests. Oh man, were we happy to find this place! We'd been walking for several hours, and hadn't been able to find anywhere to eat on the Polish side of the mountains, so we crossed over to the Czech republic. The food was typical Czech fare, which tasted all the better for someone who was mostly eating Polish food. I thoroughly recommend having a goulash in Poland and then coming here to have one, to compare the flavour :) The beer went down like elixir. And the waiter switched between four languages without any difficulties. And the views were picturesque, meadows and mountains in the background.
