Hotel Kopanice — Hotel in okres Uherské Hradiště

Hotel Kopanice is the only one 4-star-hotel in the wonderful area of Bílé Karpaty. It is family run hotel with about 20 rooms. Staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, welcome is really warm and you feel as at home. ||||Rooms are comfy and clean, ask for room with balcony and nice view of the hills. ||||Continental breakfast is satisfying although we have already visited other 4-star-hotels with better choice. In the case the hotel is fully booked (during holidays etc.), capacity of the restaurant is not sufficient and breakfast is crowdy and worse organised. Dinners are wonderful, cuisine is superb, nice choice of Moravian wines, helpful staff. ||||The only disappointment of the hotel is its wellness centre. Swimming-pool is very small (max. 4x10m). Wellness procedures were not done by real professionals. Physiotherapeutists disturbed procedures voluntarily by discussion of their own and hotel organisational problems, and during procedures therefore we had no relaxing time. It was better last evening when part of the guests already left the hotel. ||||Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel because of perfect location, accomodation and dinners. Perfect for hikers. Not so appropriate for wellness lovers. Better to visit the hotel during low-season, try to avoid Holidays - hotel is not prepared perfectly for the situation of fully...

We have a holiday home nearby and over the last 4 years it's been hit and miss. Once last year we were turn down for food in public bar and reason given to us was the hotel restaurant was busy with residence. Today we decide to give an other try as it was close by and we were hungry, when we entrance the bar we notice the bar staff dashing trough the door to the kitchen area,then she come to us and told us that the chef will not serve as food because the residence restaurant was busy. We ask for our 4and5 year old kids give as some food and speak to the manager,no manager was on duty and they agree serve the children. 30minutes later 12 people was sitted at the table, i think these people were booked and they got served food. Seamingly there seems to be huge cutbags within the hotel as portions are very small, prices are high and stuff can't cope with 40 people. Not recommend for...

It took us several buses to get up the Hotel Kompanice but it was worth the time. What a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place! Our first floor room with a little balcony was large, well equipped with a sofa, a very comfortable bed, desk, lots of closets, and a very good bathroom. Our check-in was done in Czech but I assume we could have used English too. The restaurant is in the same building was good with excellent service and a small but varied menu. The included breakfast was very good. We didn't use the wellness facilities but we hiked down the path next to the hotel to the sheep farm store and the cottage of the last Zhitkova goddess for a tour. You can walk further on the trail into the woods--very beautiful views. If you're fit, you can walk down the steep hills into the villages around Zhitkova. Definitely...
