I visit Otrokovice several times a year and usually stay at The Atrium. On this occasion, The Atrium was fully booked (along with the Hotel Rottal) so I had to find an alternative. |Thankfully, the Hotel Morava came to the rescue. ||The hotel has ample parking at the side of the hotel and appears to be relatively new so looks and feels fresh. |The quality of rooms are excellent. The standard rooms are well appointed and comfortable and furnished with high quality furniture. |The superior rooms (floor 7) are excellent and look and feel even better. ||The rooms are airy with plenty of windows and a balcony with seating. ||The beds are very comfortable and unlike most European hotels, have very large and plump pillows. ||There is plenty of room to work or relax with comfortable sofa, chairs and large desk and with free high speed broadband, I could have happily stayed there all day. ||The bathroom was especially well equipped with dual sinks, shower cubicle and separate hot tub. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. ||As is usual for rooms of this standard, you also have a large screen TV, hairdryer, safe and ample wardrobe and cupboard space. ||The breakfast offering is small but high quality. You have the option of fresh fruit, cereals, a continental style breakfast or Moravian hot breakfast. |There are also plenty of yogurts, breads and toppings should you need it, along with various cold juices and a handy little coffee machine which uses fresh beans. ||The staff were all very pleasant and helpful during my visit and we're happy to help with any questions and things such as printing boarding passes for our flights. ||Although they provide breakfast, there is no availability of evening meals so you would have to venture out. |That said, the Sypka Restaurant (sports bar) is close by (10 minute walk or 2 minute drive) and has an excellent selection of drinks and food and their speciality of pizza which are genuinely some of the best I've ever had. ||As much as The Atrium is a more 'complete' hotel and somewhere I've stayed many times, the Hotel Morava is an excellent addition to Otrokovice and certainly somewhere I will...
Read moreRecently built hotel with really generous rooms (several types available). It is the newest hotels I have ever been in. It offers enough parking spaces. Good base for car-trips in surrounding cities, as well as local as pool and playground are nearby.||Rooms equipment is of course also new, there is large desk with chairs to work on a computer if needed, nice fold-out couch, beds are very comfortable. ||The breakfast room is not very large, that is because only breakfast is served there, but we had no problem to find a table. Breakfast selection is in medium range: salami, cheese, hot dogs, eggs, sweet breakfast etc. No problem to choose from.||Our room had a balcony with small table and chairs, good on hot evening with kids already asleep.||Nice staff and very good value for money. Highly...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The reception staff was extremely incompetent, rude, and provided misleading information. I was eagerly waiting for my friend to join me on the last night, as we had communicated beforehand and I was ready to pay the difference for a double occupancy. Regrettably, at 2 am in the morning, we were subjected to a huge drama. It was disheartening to learn that the reception clerk expressed sadness over having booked and allowed us to reserve a room. This experience has left me with a negative impression, and I will not be returning. I strongly recommend finding a different hotel...
