Kocanda ubytování — Hotel in okres Znojmo

We are a group of 4 people and we booked the stay through Airbnb. From the app we could see only pictures of the main building nicely edited and had no idea of the surroundings. Once we booked we were already surprised by the elevated prices for 3 rooms. On the day of the arrival we communicated with the host who offered to prepare dinner for us that same night and confirmed us the price of 150 czk per person. Upon our arrival we were told to go towards a parking which was not what we expected. It was an area of mud in front of an abandoned looking factory. We walked towards the main building and were met by a young man who didn’t even greet us, just told us to follow him, gave us the keys to the rooms and indicated where they are. Upon arriving to the rooms we were surprised to notice that you can hear everything happening around you, the sink is outside of the bathroom, there are not bedside lights, the shower is not covered, so the water goes everywhere. We inquired about doing wine tasting at the location and we were told that we would get an amazing wine tasting experience just before dinner. We waited until 30 mins before eating for the host to call us downstairs, we were just asked which wine we want and that was our tasting. The dinner was Served pretty late since the host was the only one cooking and serving. There was no place where to sit properly, just a few random dirty rooms with a few chairs which we moved together around a table. The dinner was not the best, potatoes were not cooked and the turkey was kind of tasteless. The breakfast in the morning was good but the coffee machine had no water neither coffee inside and no one showed to refill it. During the check out we were charged almost 200 czk per person for dinner instead of the promised 150. To sum up the place was not as nice as in the picture, because they do not show that surrounding the main building there is a very creepy factory all broken and abandoned. It is all under construction which we understand but they could improve much...

Popravdě velmi zvláštní místo. Po klasické prašné polní cestě se vydáte mimo vesnici, kde osaměle stojí postupně citlivě rekonstruovaný areál zřejmě bývalé továrny. V historických objektech jsou jednoduše vybavené pokoje, ze kterých ale dýchá romantika, jako ostatně z celého areálu. Když vejdete na pokoj, vidíte kusy opraveného starého nábytku, poctivá okna, okenice. Co nevidíte je třeba TV - ale v zápětí si řeknete "Na co?", ta by se tam vlastně ani nehodila. Celý areál je osázený příjemnou zelení a vyznívá ve francouzském Provence stylu. Večerní posezení venku se sklenkou vína je parádní. Zdánlivě idyla. Jsou ale i kontroverzní momenty - v prvé řadě si člověk položí otázku, kam majitelé směřují a na co se primárně orientují. Můj dojem je, že na prvním místě jsou svatby a firemní akce. Ty ale nejsou úplně kompatibilní s klidnou romantikou. Ne, že by v našem případě ta současně konaná svatba byla nějakou super divokou párty, ale užít si dokořán otevřeného okna v krásnou letní noc nebylo úplně možné (podle dřívějších recenzí jde ale o častý jev). Druhá kontroverze je personál - musím potvrdit, že snaživý a milý. Na druhou stranu zřejmě trochu zoufalý - dění na mě dělalo dojem rodinného podniku, kde se šetří, každý dělá 10 věcí, někdy stíhá líp, jindy ne. Trochu to bylo vidět v úrovni úklidu na pokoji, hodně, ale opravdu velmi hodně v úrovni snídaně. V polovině provozní doby si nebylo co vybírat, nebyly talíře, sem tak se něco doplnilo, ale šlo o opravdu jednu z nejmizernějších snídaní, jakou jsem v ubytovacích...

Highly recommend not to prepay the booking-29.11.2023 absolutely chaotic checkin...locatedin the middle of the fields...muddy road,sparsely signed,no restaurant like promised at booking,no reception opened from 14:00....despite prepayment!and when calling the manager-owner,he promises the "receptionist" being latest after 15mins there....it were 25mins...and when asking her if this behavior is their servicequality...she laughs.....speechless! Why to sell rooms if you dont want to...
