We stayed in the hotel over a week and as longer we stayed the negatives took over the positives of this hotel. First few days cleaners were coming in the morning and towards the end they were coming at 3pm, 4pm and 4.30pm. When they knocked at the door for the cleaning service we sent them back as we wanted to rest. Obviously, they were quite happy about that. If you stay a day or two, you would not notice that the same dish you may order is cooked differently, but the beef soup for example comes once with spagetthi, another time with cous-cous, sometimes with parsley , sometimes without! It was on Saturday that we wanted to buy public transport tickets and one of the receptionists (an old lady) did not want to sell us return tickets, saying that she does not have enough tiers and can give us only two tickets. When she open the dreamer to take them, we saw that she had at least another 10 tickets and when we told her that she has, she said that other guests might want tickets as well and she could not sell it to us. We asked to speak to the Manager and she started making gestures, saying she did not understand what we are asking. We asked the waiter and the girl in charge for the breakfast to give us the Manager's details and suddenly none of them was speaking English!!! How convenient! At this point we did not feel welcomed in the hotel anymore and it was only when we said we want to leave and asked for a refund , than we were put through to the Manager. After explaining everything, she asked me to leave the payment receipt at the reception and said she will repay the money on the card in 3 days, when she goes back in the hotel. We did leave the receipt, along with a notice to remind her about the case - and here we go, 4 weeks later, we have not...

Read moreWe stayed late April for a stag do as our hotel cancelled and this was the only one available, there was a group of 7 lads. |The hotel is a 25-30min taxi to the centre which costs roughly 400crn or the bus stop over the road takes about 25 min including the metro which the man on reception explained to us.|We had dinner in the hotel the first night and beers were good and cheap, the rib eye steak which I ordered was really nice. The mixed grill wasn't a mixed grill but some weird spicey pepper and meat thing, that didn't go down too well with those that ordered. |We had breakfast the next day and it's honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had, hot dogs and rice was the main option 🤔 I stuck to the cereal which was ok. There is nowhere to get a good breakfast from anywhere near.|The rooms are old fashioned and we only had clean towels on the last day, im guessing the cleaner wanted a tip. Beds are rock hard and the shower keeps cutting out and going cold.|The staff are rude but I think that's a Czech thing, overall I wouldn't go back to the hotel but would visit Prague again and stay in the centre. This is no way a 4 star hotel 2...
