I have spent more than a decade traveling and staying in different hotels from 5 star hotels to B&B. I stayed and booked in different ways but I never put a negative review on any website. However, this one is an exception. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. It can be a 2 star hotel. We paid for two nights but due to our schedule we stayed only on the last night (19th of August 2018) per se. The moment we came in. The reception and the manager or another colleague were talking. They didn't say hi and not even looked at us. I have to approach them first. I requested for a crib on booking.com and they confirmed. But upon requesting, they declined and said it wasn't available. Next morning, breakfast was very unappetizing. The lady sitting in front of me smelled the egg and her facial expression was not good. She gestured not to eat the egg. It seemed staled. Upon check-out, I requested a day before through booking.com if we could check-out late and they also confirmed. The reception, a guy in his mid-30s or 40's refused. And instead of saying we were full and sorry for that. He told me up-straight, " Pack your bags and put them here." He was so rude. It didn't matter to me if he apologized and was respectful. But he was rude and spoke to me like I was her employee. In this case and all in all, this hotel needs to be downgraded but so much more, they need to train their employees to act like they work in the hospitality industry. A smile and casual greeting will not hurt your brand image. It...
Read moreWe had travelled all day, starting in Toronto, flying to Amsterdam and then driving across Germany to this hotel.||We arrived at the hotel at 9:50pm and the sign said that the restaurant was open until 10pm.||However the waiter was having some sort of a meltdown, because he had lots of customers and refused to serve us. We then spoke with the man at the front desk and asked if there were any restaurants nearby, and he said there was one just five minutes down the road. At this point I should point out that one of our party of four walks with the aid of a walking stick.||||Anyway the restaurant was more like a fifteen minute walk and when we got there they turned out to be a bar that wasn't serving food. We then used Google and found a McDonalds not too far away by car, which we had to go back to the hotel to get.||When we first arrived, we asked about coffee makers in the room, and the man at the desk indicated two large containers that were sitting to the side of the front desk. However when we went to get a coffee they were empty, which we pointed out to the man on duty, his reaction was to just shrug his shoulders.||When we checked out after a two day stay, not only did the desk staff not ask if we'd enjoyed our stay, they hardly acknowledged us and we then had to go back to ask them to raise the parking barrier for us to get out of the lot.||||To be fair, the room was clean, and the woman that took care of the breakfast room was...
Read moreThe hotel was very very bad! The service nor the rooms were any good. The rooms were hot and it had no air conditioning which was bad because we couldn’t breathe. The temperature was the same as outside so we could not sit inside so when we went outside we were told to not sit outside. ||We found also a bumblebee nest! The toilet was dirty, they did not clean the room and they only took the towels without replacing the old ones! We asked them to vacuum the room but they didn't do that. ||The guests were not very nice and acted like they owned the place. It was a french guide that said to us that we can’t sit outside because her group wanted to sit there and we didn't bought anything from the bar. We bought from the bar and we are guests in the hotel. She also threatened us to call the police! So we were treated very badly at the hotel! The breakfast was also old and we got food poisoning. My brother got sick and had a fever. ||We took a vacation to enjoy it but we couldn't do that because of the food, service, rooms, guests, etc.||I ADVICE YOU TO NOT BOOK A ROOM...
