Jægergården — Hotel in Aabenraa Municipality

We found it by chance (and with great difficulty, since it is not labelled in any way, you just need to know that it is between the two red pillars on the left side after the rest place going from Aabneraa) - we were looking for a place to spend the night and we ended up spending five nights there. It is a huge area with many rental houses, with two friendly dogs, horses for riding, walking paths, beach (lots of jellyfish, unfortunately), kayaks and boats (life vests available as well), playground with swings and see saw for children... The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, with TV, toilet and shower, wifi is excellent and everywhere. You are given sheets and towels, do not to bring yours. Common area (cleaned daily) has everything you might need for cooking, food storage, washing, ironing, dining, relaxing... There are also maps and brochures suggesting what to do in the area. For 400 DKK per night this was an excellent choice, I do not know if there are options that include meal. There can be some noise in the rooms next to the road, but nothing dramatic.Can pay by card, the owner is very nice and friendly. More of a hostel than a serviced hotel. Convenient for E45 when driving through Jutland between Germany and Denmark. Very informal budget accommodation. A place to wind down after a long day on the road. Located on an organic farm. Nice views across Aabenraa Fjord and a good beach to have an early morning stroll. No meals provided but very adequate "do it yourself" facilities. No signs on the road but Google Earth streetview helps to...

really nice and cozy place in the south of denmark. the area is very clean and the rooms are good. the staff and the dogs are friendly. they have a lot of space outside and a beautiful grass. a shop is in the next city (about 10 min by car), because there is no breakfast possible. when we arrived we found a sheet of paper with my name and a map which room we should take, because there a different houses...
