We were greeted on arrival by the hotel owner, who was very friendly and welcoming.||The hotel has a large free car park and looks down on a beautiful view of the sea from the hill it sits on. Some of the rooms overlook the sea and some overlook the car park. The car park is made of stones/gravel and at night is was easy to be disturbed by cars or people going past our rear view window.||The hotel is well maintained and has an outdoor Jacuzzi and bathrobes are provided free of charge.||From the hotel, it is a 500 meter walk to the island, most of which is downhill. There is a car park on the island and it is very beautiful and flat to walk around. The island also has the only restaurant for around 2 miles and we went in there for dinner. The cheapest thing on the menu was a soup starter which was 88KR (£10.30). After 10 minutes of waiting to be served we left and drove 10km to the town of Aabenraa. There were several nice and busy restaurants there and the food what much more reasonably priced that on the island. Although, I will say it will still expensive.||The only couple of negative things to say about the hotel was that the toilet was not very clean when we arrived and there was a lot of dust floating around...

We spent five nights in the flat called Panorama, which offers a magnificent view of the bay, particularly at sunrise. The five flats offer accommodation to suit all age groups, including handicapped guests. We had a very relaxing holiday and look forward to...
