I was visiting Aalborg for business and had to stay here due to all the local hotels being booked for a fair. It's about 9km outside Aalborg and seems to be favoured as a wedding venue.
The hotel has an interesting history but really needs a lot of money spent on updating the facilities and decor. I was put in a room in a separate annex which is a couple of minutes walk from the main hotel reception and dining. The room was musty, very small and with no facilities such as tea, coffee or water. Staff seemed miserable. It was an ok visit, but if I were to choose a location for an event, I would not...
